OK LETS MAKE SIMON COWEL QUIT AND SCREW UP AMERICAN IDOL
masterrig replied to judedre's topic in The Bonfire
I'll be honest, I haven't watched it much this year. Just a few minutes of it here and there. My wife likes it so, I put-up with it. Chuck -
OK LETS MAKE SIMON COWEL QUIT AND SCREW UP AMERICAN IDOL
masterrig replied to judedre's topic in The Bonfire
Why not?! Simon has gotten past his usefullness. He makes a percentage of each winner and has more money than anyone needs. They should put a well known singer in his place. He needs to go. Chuck -
I'd keep them. Keeps me from making the same mistakes twice. That's just life. Part of being human. Chuck

_____________________________ 'Boston Legal', is much better. At least, it doesn't hurt my ears like 'Idol'. Most of 'em sound like two cats with their tails tied together then, slung over a clothesline! Chuck

Look what I found in my sons pockets before dinner
masterrig replied to shortyj's topic in The Bonfire
Three Musketeers! Dayum, they're goooood! Probably have to chill them in the fridge after being in his pocket! Chuck -
I thought, this was going to be about the singing group from the '60's. Chuck

I hear Nixon was really well hung. ______________________________________ During the Viet Nam war, the big slogan was 'Pull Out!' There was also a bumper sticker: "Pull Out: What Nixon's Father Should've Done!" Chuck

...and a recurring character in "The X Files". _________________________________ I didn't know that! I never watched the X-Files. Chuck There were also three recurring characters who were computer experts. They called themselves "The Lone Gunmen". ________________________________ I can't think of their names, either. I guess, I really put all that way back in my memory bank. Chuck

________________________________ O.K. You first! Nixon is boring stuff, anyhow. Chuck

hehehe...close, but not quite. "The Washington Post confirmed that W. Mark Felt, a former number-two official at the FBI, was "Deep Throat," the secretive source who provided information that helped unravel the Watergate scandal in the early 1970s and contributed to the resignation of president Richard M. Nixon." _________________________________ That's right! Thanks! That guy came-out and fessed-up, not too long ago. I got tired of all the coverage of Watergate so, my memory of it is not that good. You could try taking your rig back to them and get with the rigger who packed it. You might try holding back on the expletives. By the way, after reading your post... I need to raise my prices! Chuck

Wasn't that the code-name for Richard Nixon during the 'Watergate' fiasco? Chuck

________________________________ I wish, I could take credit for that saying. I actually, got that from the 'old' M.A.S.H. t.v. series. Glad, it perked you up! Chuck

They (Oklahoma city) have always done it that way. Makes it really difficult for us. Like when someone comes in to get their IA. If they have recently changed over to a non-SSN certificate number, the database won't show that they have been an A&P for the prescribed number of years. A real pain to have to keep the mechanic waiting while we call OKC and verify that he/ she has been an A&P for three years. Don't even get me started on the picture. Why didn't they use a pic of Charles Taylor for mechanics certificates? ___________________________________ What a hassle. That's just part of 'government gridlock' and 'it ain't broke... don't fix it' thinking on their part. At one of the Symposiums, an FAA rep., stated that, they are more concerned with matters of aircraft and in so many words, if riggers have a problem, we should keep it amongst ourselves. Not that I want any interference from the FAA. Maybe, we should form our own licensing and regulatory board and really keep rigging amongst ourselves. Chuck

You'll get the new card in about two weeks. Real nice picture of the Wright Brothers at Kittyhawk. What I don't like is, they up-date the date. I've had my ticket since 1993 and to look at my new card, it looks like I just got it last November! No biggy... I know how long I've had it. Chuck

__________________________________ Last night's prank was pretty funny. Jim hid the new guy's cellphone in the ceiling tiles above his desk. Then, he'd call him periodically. Drove the guy totally over the edge! I laughed my butt-off. Chuck Holy Shit. I have my camera with me at work. I'm going to do that to my buddy and tape it. Don't worry, it'll be on YouTube in no-time. _____________________________ Go get 'em! We'll be waiting for the video! What was really funny was, Jim would call him and the guy could hear the ring-tone and just go ballistic! Chuck

I recently got my 'plastic', when I changed my address. Did it over the internet, $2.00 off my credit card... badda - bing! I of course, kept my old one. Chuck

I know, what you are feeling. I lost my horse to colic, this past October. He was with me for 8-yrs. I'm still, not over him. What it boils down to is, things happen and even the best of Vets have no control over it. It's really hard to accept, when you lose a pet and a friend. I was bitter too, for awhile... it's normal. I feel bad for your loss. Chuck

I've been a sucker for donuts, since I was a kid. As I recall, their coffee was gooood! Chuck
