Ibuprofen before you even start packing for the weekend! always always always!! I realized I had a significantly larger amount of swelling on days I didnt take ibuprofen in the morning. Also found that neosporin relieved a little pain after the fact, as well as the ice that was mentioned above. Good luck healing!

Yeah, I know. I would be hard-pressed to actually find a matching set in one of those rooms anyway. I do at least a load of laundry every day with two girls and a wife. Far cry from the bachelor days where you could get by on one load a week! Ewww... Note to self: Dont have a family!!

I sense a good story coming... Id hardly call it a good story . Once upon a time, I went on a date. It was the first time this guy had really seen me in regular clothes (military academy, only time i wasnt in uniform I was in a cheerleading uniform). Well, he took me to this cute little Italian place about a mile or so walk from school. Well were walking back from dinner and my tummy starts bagurgling. Thinking its just gas, I discreetly let one rip here and there. Literally 20 feet from the dorm door that discreet little fart is running down my leg. (thank GOD i wore jeans...). Waddled into the building as quickly as I could and disguarded my favorite pair of underwear in the downstairs bathroom. Yet another thank GOD is that annapolis is disgustingly hot in the summer, so I went back upstairs and told him I was hot from the walk and hopped in the shower... I like to think he never noticed.

Better than shitting yourself on a date

What is PD's mindset on their WL'ing charts?

I have a hard time categorizing myself as an intermediate with my measly B license ... -
Riggerbob said exactly what I was taught... Symmetry is huge. Make sure the new packers are making the risers and lines even before they stow the lines... A lot of times that gets over looked when teaching someone how to pack. I know when I first started packing tandems, it was very easy for me to overlook the amount of line on each side until I was already finished stowing the lines, so Id have to stretch it back out and try again.

+1 Two pump/motor assemblies and an electronic controller later, I've decided against purchasing any more Samsung laundry machines. Also, if the washer goes unused for a couple of days with the door closed, I have to add some bleach to the tub before starting a load due to the musty smell that develops. I have well water so I don't get any help with chlorinated water from any municipal source- but I'm not sure that would remedy the situation. You might also take the model # of the Samsung machine you're considering and determine exactly what is involved in getting replacement parts. I think that is any of the front loaders... My family has one (sorry the brand escapes me right now), and once this one dies my parents plan to buy a top loading washer. We had issues with it a couple years back, and when my mom asked the repair guy about the musty smell, he said that is a problem with all front loading washers, because it has to keep water in the well to keep it balanced (or something like that).

ZERO! My head didnt fit in my helmet this weekend! Sigh

Crap, you're having a bad month. I've known a few people who've had those. They say the pain is exquisite. Yeah, definitely a bad month . Got a good trip to Fitzgerald in right in the middle of it though!! But yeah I dont think Id wish that pain on my worst enemy. I couldnt pass mine though, Im pretty sure it wouldve gotten worse if Id passed it naturally

Wow, that is great!

Yikes! I keep hearing about dry socket, and Im really trying hard to follow all the instructions. I think a huge part of why this is not too terrible is because I had a kidney stone less than a month ago, and honestly I felt like I was dying... Im not sure anything could ever compare to that. Im sorry you had a shitty experience, thought, I hate hearing that.

That is precious

Yep! Thats it!

He did, but because of issues with my pharmacy I wasnt able to get it until late last night, and I had already taken an Ambien when my folks brought it home (Im not about to mix Ambien with Dilaudid)... For the most part I am feeling fine right now so I dont have any reason to take the hard stuff. And since I am allergic to most of the hard stuff, I couldnt just take something my parents have in the medicine cabinet Dilaudid? Damn. Just take over the counter stuff and save that for a party... Honestly ibuprofen is working better for me with this situation (swelling).. Ive taken one dilaudid since the surgery... And it has no metal benefits for me, so its one of those things I like to keep around for when shit really sucks (like when I had my kidney stone last month).. The pharmacist actually tried to call me a drug seeker last night, and refused to fill it even after the doctor called her (this is the 2nd time in the last 30 days ive been prescribed it, but, gee, it was also my second surgery in said month)

Thanks! Yeah, I know about it, and all the other things that are being done (and things trying to be done) to screw over service members and their families. I'm a little bitter right now over what's happening. what exactly is happening? dental hasn't been covered for families for several years at least. what is it, $12 or $13 a month for the whole family? that's not too bad. i don't know how the coverage compares to most other dental plans, but its better than any coverage i had in the civilian world. Im not sure, just wasnt expecting my wisdom teeth to not be covered completely. But considering how much tricare has covered for my medical over the years, 40% of my wisdom teeth isnt a huge deal, it was just a surprise. Honestly, Im not sure what else is going on, I try not to pay attention, because itll just irritate me.

I asked for mine just after I woke up (I vaguely remember this) and the woman THREW THEM AWAY!!
-
SO did you know the military no longer pays 100% for families?? Yeah that was a nice surprise on monday... Also, I just found out my DZ wont have a plane tomorrow, so it was a much easier decision Good luck this week!

I have that issue with one of my 12 year molars (which I didnt get til I was 16 btw), and on top of that, the filling has fallen out/off four times, because its difficult to get a good filling in that part of the mouth evidently... I lost I think only 1 or 2 of my teeth the natural way (wiggle til it falls out)... Most were knocked out on the playground (including the first one in 2nd grade), and then the 8 that got yanked... Which is why I was surprised that my wisdom teeth were moving around and ready to come out. Also, one tooth too many?! Sheesh!
-
Yeah I had 8 teeth removed between 12 and 13 in preparation for my second set of braces.... I am going to google your current issue in a moment. But it sounds like ouch! Good luck!
