I was thinking about putting together some little video for holly.. not something i'm gonna put out many places, but anyway I was looking for music - i heard this song by saliva "rest in pieces" and think it's perfect except for one line the one that says "gently smiled before you destroyed my life" -- i'm trying to figure out what in the world saliva was writing this song about, was it a girl that destroyed his life and he wanted to move on from? Or was it a girl who was killed? Sorry if it is painfully obvious, it isn't to me :) SALIVA LYRICS "Rest In Pieces" Look at me, my depth perception must be off again Cause this hurts deeper than I thought it did It has not healed with time It just shot down my spine _ You look so beautiful tonight Remind me how you laid us down And gently smiled before you destroyed my life Would you find it in your heart To make this go away And let me rest in pieces Would you find it in your heart? To make this go away And let me rest in pieces Would you find it in your heart? To make it go away And let me rest in pieces Look at me, my depth perception must be off again You got much closer than I thought you did I'm in your reach You held me in your hands But could you find it in your heart? To make this go away And let me rest in pieces Would you find it in your heart? To make it go away And let me rest in pieces

Well.. i just got back from Michigan.. (8 hours of driving).. the funeral was very touching. After reading his part during the service, one of holly's brothers ended with a fist in the air and a "chicks rule." I can't say enough good things about holly's parents and brothers/sister, they are some top notch people. LouDiamond put a pullup cord from my car in her casket.. a thin orange one, fairly new. We drove to tecumseh to do a memorial dive for holly (2 way birdman) and boy did she ever show up. We planned a normal exit Lou would be behind me I'd give the count out in go.. we hit on exit and I am assuming my foot or something else hit his reserve handle.. i immediately saw it flopping around, he didn't know anything was wrong but did see me frantically pointing at my handles.. he grabbed onto it and flew with one wing out and one in.. deployed at the given altitude and had no issues after that.. I commented to him when we landed "boy holly was with us on that load" .. we went off to the packing area and started packing, Lou came back with a thin orange fairly new pullup cord.. found on the ground. Coincidence? Blue skies holly - enjoyed jumping with you finally. Kevin

High: Getting to meet holly in person today, meet her parents, and family Low: Meeting them under these circumstances....

I'm still experimenting, i got my test fabric in.. the color transfer worked pretty good on the test fabric but the black transfers don't work very well - i think it is because i don't have a constant pressure heat press (using an iron). I'm talking to various t-shirt places to see if I can use their heat press, also looking to other options for doing it. So as of now it's just a space suit :)

You can probably thank Holly for that, for some reason I'm thinking she had something to do with that

Thanks for going, we're heading up tomorrow. You have my # call if you can sync up.

You better not be so lazy that you don't send my DVD back :)

OKay well i opened my mailbox and literally envelopes can flying out of it (ok well falling out of it) for the fund. .... I'm excited to say that, we now have enough! Holly will have a full page in vivid color coming either in the june or july issue (depends on how quick I can get the pictures that were being sent to me). I thank all of you who supported this effort, I hope that the page that I'm doing will accurately depict how awesome holly was. I've gone through 3 revisions of it already, this last one is really looking quite awesome. Just need more pictures! (to my knowledge they are on their way..) Can't wait. Again thank you all, now we can go on to planning for the plaque and tree with the additional funds. You guys rawk. Kevin

You won't jump a camera helmet but your willing to fly down to 3000 so you'll look cool. Tell ya what, next jump we do, take it to 3 and I'll film it for ya You don't have the neat lens. :) Kevin

It isn't the same, though very similar. Can't comment on the exact differences sorry..

um.. i got it for peace of mind, i've had severe line twists before have cut my wings 2? maybe 3? times and never did I go for the lqrs. for some reason i get brain freeze on line twists, i'll get my wings cut and hands go immediately to the risers to start trying to stop the spin.. i can't bring myself to let go of the risers to cut the leg.. someone was playing around with the idea of connecting the leg and the wing releases together as one handle. I have used it once back in my early birdman carrer i knocked a bootie off on exit which later induced a flat spin .. i tried flying the suit with one bootie on and one off but just couldn't maintain it.. cut the leg and was good to go. i had problems with line twists.. i still need to prefect my body position but i got cut corners now and it has really solved a lot of the problem, haven't had one line twist in the 3 jumps i've done since the cut corners.. (so maybe it was more than body position for me?)

Is she hot? Where you keeping your cigars and altoids? :)
-
Yeah what the hell are you guys talking about? Isn't batman a ride at disney world or something?
-
Hmm... Where do you position the landing gear? I wouldn't want to be dragging anthing on the roll-out. Especially anything made of flesh - that might be attached near my hips - and might protrude from the excitement had by this experience. Strap it to your chest.. not that hard.
-
Wonder how much those things weigh..
-
Yeah that's a sweet shot, I wish I could get on video lookin that cool :)
-
Oh yeah.... I can see a Darwin award already.... don't laugh, this will probably be doable and will enable enough forward speed for landing.

C'mon, Sebazz, don't be coy, tell us how you really feel and who it is! Wow andrea this isn't a "you need to stop personal attacks" reply?

We used to have to put deer down after getting hit by a truck - it's all in the round. You wouldn't believe what an animal can live through. Long story short - use a .45 ACP hydroshock everty time. It's just plain mean to use anything less. I carry .40 hydrashocks... that should work I guess

They had the dog on tv this morning.. that cop has got to feel like shit.. you shoot a dog in the head and still can't kill it? I mean hell that's pretty bad to shoot a dog in the head to begin with but c'mon
