  1. OK, It's happened 3 more times. Each time with the Cadillac ad. But, the same ad loaded ok once. Hope this helps. Blue Skies, Jason
  2. Please disregard my last post. It's working ok now. Blue Skies, Jason
  3. Every time I load the new page, the ad at the top of the page loads over the tabs for the forums, Safety, Dropzones, etc. I can still click the tabs and nav. away from the home page. Using Windows 7 64 bit with Google Chrome. Blue Skies, Jason
  4. Sick video!! Who shot the outside freefall shots? Blue Skies, Jason
  5. Thanks DSE! Glad to hear that its OK to delete them! The default location for the temp files is an APP DATA folder which is hidden with the default Windows 7 settings. But now that I know what is happening, how to find the folder and how to fix it, it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks again and Blue Skies, Jason
  6. So what happened?? You said that SSK didn't get it from your rigger. Were they mistaken or was there some confusion? Glad you got your rig none the less!
  7. Is it OK to delete the temp files every so often? My editing machine has a 120gb SSD for the "C" drive and it was nearly full so the machine was acting buggy. I asked a friend for some help and he helped me find the Sony Vegas Temp files (they were hidden by default) all 80gb worth of them. I moved them to the 1tb "H" drive and opened a few of the projects and they seemed to work fine so I deleted the new folder location on "H" and the projects still seemed to work fine. Now my "C" drive is back to 40gb or so. Am I gonna regret this later? Thanks and Blue Skies, Jason
  8. It has happened to a friend of mine....twice. For his unit's 4 yr and 8 yr checks, it had to be sent back to Germany. Not sure why... Contact SSK and see if they can give you an estimated return date. If its gonna be a while, ask for a loner unit. Blue Skies, Jason
  9. Awesome show as always Guys!! Really enjoyed listening to Olav. Looking forward to part 2! We even got to hear from Moe! Thanks again for all your hard work. Blue Skies, Jason
  10. I guess everyone has their opinion of what the student wants or what makes the perfect tandem video but I agree with others that have said that the up close shot of the students face isn't all of the picture. I remember watching a video that DSE produced with Norman Kent about flying camera and I can't remember Mr. Kent's exact words but it was to the effect of " don't be in such a hurry after exit to get right in the students face. Take some time coming in from above them to convey the visual of the ground below and the vastness of the sky, then get in there and get the close up." I like getting the "pop-up" shot but I completly agree that it needs to be outside of the "cone of death" (which the shot you were referring to WAS NOT). I have lots of students comment that they like that shot. I also completly agree that the video is about the student and not about how awesome the vidiot can head down carve around the tandem pair as a display of his or her "Mad Skillz". Blue Skies, Jason
  11. I noticed that there wasn't a price listed. Prolly fits into the catagory of "If you gotta ask...You can't afford it!" Blue Skies, Jason
  12. Its been discussed here : http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4229590;search_string=Rebel%20T3;#4229590 Looks like its not a good choice for "production line" tandem work but prolly OK for occasional tandem and fun jumps. Blue Skies, Jason
  13. Great show as always guys!! Really enjoyed the conversation with Moe! Thanks and Blue Skies, Jason
  14. LOL!! Ok, thanks...I will probaby uninstall 10 after I get 11 up and running. Thanks again and Blue Skies, Jason
  15. Do I need to uninstall Vegas Pro 10 before installing Vegas Pro 11 from the disc or will the install recognize Pro 10 and install accordingly. I am new to all this and don't want to mess up my machine. Thanks and Blue Skies, Jason
  16. Great show as always!! Please keep up the good work!! P.S. No voicemail from Moe????? Blue Skies, Jason
  17. Great show as always! Glad to see you and Stump can still do a show by yourselves! Love hearing from Moe. Y'all have GOT to get him on the show! Thanks again for all your hard work. Blue Skies, Jason
  18. Does this really work?? I have fogging issues here in TN when its really humid. I would think that heating the lens above ambient temp. would cause MORE moisture issues as you fall through the cooler air at altitude. I hope I am wrong cause I will buy a heating pad if this is proven to work! Thanks and Blue Skies, Jason
  19. If you have it where you work, they might participate in the HUP (home use program). I got the full 2010 suite for $10. Blue Skies, Jason
  20. So is 4-Speed a French team? Looks like they are SMOKING HOT right now! Blue Skies, Jason
  21. Looks really cool but this quote "Priced at just under $5k" from that article prolly keeps it from being an option for most of us. Thanks for letting us know what's coming though. It's great to have someone at the forefront of new technology that is looking at it from the same prospective that we are! Thanks and Blue Skies, Jason
