  1. Thanks for checking on that for me. It looks like no one has the XTi or 5d versions in stock right now. Some dealers list them as back ordered, others list as special order and one even lists as overdue from manufacturer. I did e-mail that ebay seller to find out if they actually have that one in stock before I buy it. Thanks again, Jason
  2. Have you been back to your local shop to check on the camera armor? I just got my XTi and I would like to get one for it. Thanks, Jason
  3. I usually just send them in as is. I did crop one and it was published like that, the other two that I had published appeared to be just like I sent them. Jason
  4. B&H is showing the one for the XTi as back ordered and the only one I can find on Ritz now is for a Nikon D80, both are $50. B&H does show the 5D version on back order as well http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=Search&A=details&Q=&sku=465473&is=REG&addedTroughType=search but it lists for $59.95. I guess they figure if you can afford a 5D, what's another $60. If your local shop has one for an XTi in stock, please find out how I can order one online or via telephone and let me know. Thanks, Jason
  5. I want to try this product as well on my new XTi. Where can you get it for $35? B&H and Ritz are $50. Thanks, Jason
  6. I am looking to upgrade my original digi rebel to the new 400D XTi. I was wondering how compatible they are. I don't think they use the same battery but I think it will use the same remote (I have a Conceptus stereo). I am using a Lexar Pro 40x 1gb CF card now. Is it fast enough to keep from slowing down the camera or do I need to go to a faster card? I am not too concerned about capacity since I have a stand alone burner that I use practically after every jump and keep the card clean. I have a support under my kit lens now. Will the space between the lens and the helmet be the same on the 400D? Thanks, Jason
  7. Thanks to everyone for all the advice. I am glad to know that it isn't a big deal. I will start letting the toggle attachment point out in 3 to 4 inch increments until I get better results. Thanks Again. Blue Skies, Jason
  8. I am considering buying a Sabre 2 170 with approx. 100 jumps on it from a friend and I have put 11 jumps on it. I have noticed that in full forward flight the steering lines don't have any "bow" in them and that any movement on the toggles has an immediate response, also if I try to pull down on a front riser (with toggle in hand) the canopy "bucks" and doesn't dive smoothly. Is this normal or do I need to have the brake lines checked out? I looked on PD's website and as best I can tell the brake to tog measurement is only about 1/2" off. I don't intend to use the front risers unless I have to but I just want to be sure that it's not a real problem. Thanks, Jason
  9. We would be glad to see ya. It looks like it's going to be a good day. Jason
  10. Awesome pics, glad you made it back safe. Jason

  13. I was doing some editing this evening and my wife brought our 7 mo. old daughter in the room and put my camera helmet on her. It was so cute I had to take her pic. I don't think she will ever follow Daddy's footsteps though, if Mom has her way. Blue Skies, Jason
  14. That's great to hear, there are lots of folks that have been waiting for this. I'm really excited about it as well. Blue Skies, Jason

  22. I posted this in the Bonfire forum but I haven't received the response I had hoped for so I thought I would post here as well where hopefully the folks that likely took the pics would see it. I am putting together a photo slide show to be presented at Chris Martin's memorial service. Chris traveled frequently to different dropzones and I would like to have pics from as many different places as possible, so I would appreciate any photos that anyone would like to contribute. Please send pics of Chris to freefalljason@yahoo.com I will also be working on a memorial video with Cowboy in the near future. Please e-mail freefalljason@yahoo.com if you have some footage that you would like to contribute, and we can discuss how to get it to me. I will never forget you Chris. Jason Waller
