The JSM boogie in 2001 which sparked the birth of SkyFest had a ceremony of 11. Thats when I started trying to beat each year, so we are now up to 24 as of SF'03. Maybe I should say unofficial Record, but I have had no challenges yet.

Sounds like the beginning of a new Team? I believe I have the resources to go bigger with the JSF and SkyFest , just lacking a Team. We need to chat, I will share some ideals with you in person at SkyFest. Can't give away all the good ones.

We have wanted to take ours nationwide for a while. But there is a ton of work involved. My brother and I have at least 400 hours apiece per year for just this event. We have been approached by 4 DZ'z across the country to take it there. I have always wanted to do Satellite events to raise money for the Scholarship. I love to chat with you at SkyFest about and share my experience with you. What I can't figure out is why there aren't more boogies like ours that raises money for Skydivers? The more students we keep in the air, the more coaches we produce the greater the sport becomes. Everyone wins.

Ok every one I would have done a poll but I don't know how to set it up, maybe someone could do it for me? Here is the situation. Adrenln tunnel has approached us on bringing out their wind tunnel for SF 04. www.adrenln.com Here's the problem, it is noisy, very very loud they said they would stack hay around it to reduce it, but by how much? With all the events going on do we really want to add something else? Where do we put it? I think the parking lott is too close. The other side of the pond would be good, but then there is the traffic problem. I think it would be better next year that way we could get the town involved and be better prepared for the traffic it might create, don't want whuffo's young and old wondering across the landing area. We could not have it run Saturday night during dinner, awards and SCR ceremony, so that leaves the rest of the days. What do ya'll think, yes, no, maybe next year? And remember this is not a Skyventure tunnel. There is a difference. Not putting it down, it does exactly what it was made for, whuffo's. Still a ton of fun!

I remember that one! Dave Cat2 in Dallas jumps his once a year. We also break out the Delta 2 each year during Skyfest. Spaceland is not my home DZ so I would not be the one to ask them for any favors, but maybe we can work that out when we get there. I will do what I can. You might also contact Spaceland and at least see what they normally charge, just so you have an idea. Glad to see that you are going, you will have a good time.

So Erika You mentioned a dress code for the Ceremony, have you had any luck with that? I am sure that Bill Newell wouldn't mind nor many others. I think SkyFest shirts would be suitable enough, don't you? We like white.

Are you kidding? I would never do that Keith, I enjoy my life to much! Ok I have one ? on the 2 Gen. SCR. Do I have to go through the ceremony again? I prefer to drink beer these days. Keith I started adding up the SCR/SCS that I had organized in the past and discovered that I have completed 85 successful SCR/SCS! I am pretty excited about that. Maybe I will get closer to 100 by the end of SkyFest! Thanks for the help! I will get that logo to you shortly. J
