I've gone through changes . . . my bboy name used to be Mexx or just Mexico. (even though I only speak a bit of spanish) Now it's "Frijol Saltando" . . .My gramma started calling me "jumping bean". I figure it works for b-boying because of all the flips and hand hops etc. . but then it just seemed to fit perfectly for skydiving and BASE!!

Mmmmmmmm aaaaaalpine Ran up the Diamond a few times this year including a double summit bid where we climbed the Casual rt ran down the Loft and then up The Flying Buttress to summit Meeker, back down the loft and to the bivies in just about 12hrs. And yeah I hit the crags pretty frequently. I'm an Eldo junkie in the Spring and Fall! You can't go wrong with routes like The Edge and Vertigo not to mention all the other "classics"! I haven't climbed for shit since I started Skydiving but, spring's almost here and I GOTSTA get on some rock!!! I'm gettin FAT!!! Used to have an 04 STi. Not nearly as fast as yours and I never did get a track time on it. Only a couple mods, 3" cattless exhaust, and a tune put me at 280 awhp. That li'l bitch was FAST!! Obviously TOOO fast for me, 3 driver's licenses later and now I drive an '85 toyota pick-up that I also happen to LIVE in No mods and slow as hell but, no tickets in about a year

No, I missed the premier when it showed in Boulder. . . I cought King Lines and First Ascent though they were pretty good. Mostly Sharma bouldering and taking HUMANGUS whippers off sport routes. I can't say I've had a hard time with landings (accuracy still needs tweaking). I slid in on AFF 1, PLF'd around jump #8 and again at around mid-50-ish. . .I thought the ground was just a hair closer than it actually was but, when I put my foot down, it wasn't there!! When the foot and ground DID meet there was no standing up running out etc. . .Just a big fatty roll through the grass, lines and, canopy. I had to untangle a little step through when I went to re-pack I have had a couple of hard step-downs but nothing that I would consider "bad". But, I'm fairly impact resistant. About two weeks BEFORE my first jump!! I was climbing the E Face of Longs Peak (The Diamond)with a buddy when I just heard "WHAM!!" I thought it was rockfall, only to be pleasantly surpised to see a canopy gliding serenely to the valley floor/mills glacier. Got stuck high on the wall in a pretty heinous lightning storm and had to bail. Called the DZ the next day and scheduled AFF. 1st jump Agust 30th 2008 AFF L1. Now stacking a healthy 84 jumps and climbing in just over 3 months. After AFF 1 I KNEW this was what I wanted. I had finally lost my virginity to the SKY!!! Now I can't keep my damn wallet closed!! It doesn't take shit to convince me to go to work late for a balloon jump or call in sick for a blue sky day at the DZ!!! But, GODDAMN I LOVE THIS SHIIIIIIITT!!!!!!!! And I think I'm IN LOOOOVE!!!! Got a ballon jump in Saturday morning and HOLY S#%T that was the coolest thing I've ever done in my life!!! Peace and tranquility to audible acceleration and the sweet SWEET feeling of altitude loss!! WOOOHOOOO!!! I'm gonna try to get another one in this week!! yeah yeah. . .
