    I'm neutral at work. If someone asks me 1 on 1 what my hobbies are I won't hide it however if we have some kind of ice breaker where we say what our hobbies are in a group I keep my mouth shut since I don't want the ice breaker to turn into a 20 minute Q&A on Skydiving. (it’s happen before) There are about 1200 people in my office. I like that I know every time someone does their 1st tandem because as soon as someone says anything about skydiving it's "go talk to jeff". Of course with 90 jumps I'm a pro and they ask if I can be their tandem master

    is naked skydiving allowed? I'm afraid to ask Bill. I feel like he will punch me in the face just for asking.

    what about a secret wave? I saw a car on the freeway with a skydiving bumper sticker last week and got excited and started honking at him. When he turned over I just did a devil horn sign at him smiling and pointed at the sky. He probably has no idea what the hell was going on

    Find a place close to take some classes and get actual training, skydiving is not really something you want to learn to do on-line.

    All the rental gear there is for sale...if you like it, tell Bill you're interested in it and he will offer you a fair price. Student gear at Lodi is top notch. I bought my rig from Bill as well. He was very easy to work with showed me different rigs in different price ranges. I got a pretty good deal too.

    To amplify JR's response, "nothing" is a big misnomer (no doubt why he put it in quotes) because the base has to set an acceptable and consistent fall rate, maintain the correct heading, and take all kinds of abuse from people who don't know how to dock. I've definetly kicked the base in the head once or twice

    Pure curiosity really. I'm curious to know how fast I am going. I'm flying a safire 2 169 at a 1.1 W/L. Let's say i'm not wearing a jump suit, no winds, and I'm doing a standard approach. Around how fast am I going? It feels like maybe 15 mph at the most.

    Is there a chart anywhere for how many mph you will go on a canapy based on your wingload? I searched the forums as well as google and didn't find much.

    I just must have went to a wild one then cuz it was my 1st time i had no buddy. Dude said "you familar with a gun"? I said "nope" he said "heres how you load it" and that was that.

    really? My shooting range just let's who ever shoot. I live in Cali too which has some of the stricktest gun rules in the country. That's strange

    Hey folks, I didn't find anything when I did a search for this so how safe are the classifieds? It seems like every day I see a new scam alert. I'm buying my 1st rig very soon and don't want to get screwed. Has anyone ever bought rigs off the classifieds? Anybody ever have any issues?

    I think Fedor will TKO him with in the 1st minute. I would love to see Arlovski upset Fedor though because I feel he is hyped too much

    A new jumper who has reached the 100-jump experience level, and thinks he knows it all, when in fact he really knows very little. They are a dangerous sub-species, both to themselves, and to others. do people use the term 50 jump wonder?
