  1. LOL... that never crossed my mind. I don't even remember the User ID I created... You are bad! Always be kinder than you feel.
  2. Does anyone have a creeper account for websites like AdultFriendFinder.com? When I was doing online dating it seemed like the same people were on the same websites (Match, Plenty of Fish, eHarmony, etc.). I'd "look" for them on the fucky-fucky site to see if they were there trolling for ass. To tell you the truth, it weeded out quite a few weirdos!! My definition of a "creeper account": I created a profile to just look, never uploaded any pics, wasn't identifiable back to me, never answered anyone who contacted me. Always be kinder than you feel.
  3. That height and weight is me to a T. However, you get this fantasy girl and she is diagnosed with a non-curable illness such as Multiple Sclerosis. Is she then a Shah-perceived liability? Do you run for the hills after hearing a less than favorable diagnosis? Always be kinder than you feel.
  4. +1 I call bullshit. I think you make up these stories to have something to talk about. It's okay to not contribute controversy/drama on a daily basis. Sometimes it's nice to just sit quietly and take it all in... Always be kinder than you feel.
  5. Why don't you telecommute so you don't have to mingle with the dregs of society every day? Always be kinder than you feel.
  6. I think people with less than perfect bodies should be the last to throw stones at anyone for real or perceived imperfections... But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? Always be kinder than you feel.
  7. Well, I'm sure if the 'morning after pill' is needed, you're probably sending him the wrong messages. LOL... I'm Catholic so no Plan B. I meant law enforcement/courts. Always be kinder than you feel.
  8. Ummmmm.... Can't say that I have. Always be kinder than you feel.
  9. That's the way I go. "I'm happily married" has worked really well for a long time. Sometimes they can get stalker-ish and that's when you have to ramp it up a notch. I agree. I like to treat people the way I like to be treated. Unfortunately, if Plan A doesn't work, Plan B has to be deployed. Always be kinder than you feel.
  10. I voted the for the "direct but polite" option. I just had to deal with this myself. Not fun hearing someone repeatedly tell me how many women like them/hit on them/come out of the bathroom naked for them/etc. Quite disturbing and reeked of desperation, IMHO. Believe me, if the attraction is mutual, they'll know it. Good luck!!

  12. You're welcome. My pleasure. If you're ever looking for a dive buddy once you're certified, let me know. When you're new Dutch Springs is a great place to play! Let us know how you make out!! Always be kinder than you feel.
  13. Do the PADI eLearning for $120, which will save your vacation time from sitting in a classroom. You'll still have to prove you know your stuff and review with the instructors though. ETA: http://www.padi.com/elearning-scuba-registration/ You're so close to Dutch Springs. www.DutchSprings.com I bet if you get right on the eLearning and link to a dive shop and call them to tell of your plans, you could be OW certified before you leave NYC for a vacation. Good luck. Always be kinder than you feel.
  14. A friend told me she'd lend me the books. That was after she told me how she'd have to freaking wack off while reading them. When she has a perfectly good husband to jump on! LOL.. But seriously, borrowing the books after you've told me you had to play with yourself while reading them? Ummm... and then touch the same pages with your girl goo? Ewwwwww.... no thanks. Always be kinder than you feel.
  15. It's beautiful up where you live. Take a walk in one of the parks and get a fresh, cold dose of lunch hour down time!! Always be kinder than you feel.
  16. Be happy one of them didn't come up to you trying to serve a hotdog with his whatnot strategically placed. Bachelor Party anyone? OMG. I would've died. One of my girlfriends who wanted the lovely task of arranging my Bachelorette Party in 2000 set up an excursion to this place called The Cave in Philadelphia. Male dancers, penis cups, they pull the bride up on stage and grind all over her. No god damn way. I thought it was disrespectful to me and also my fiance to have another guy acting like that towards me. Well, when I heard about what she had up her sleeve I put the kibosh on it. The other girls were actually relieved. We ended up just going to one of our local restaurants and having a nice dinner, doing some shots (ugh) and then bar hopping. Quite boring by many standards but we all came home pure. In fact, I put a 'no strippers or hookers' mandate on the fiance's party. They were home before we were. Yeah, I'm a killjoy like that... plus I sent my brother with them to chaperone. We're divorced now. PS - It's kind of funny because I am so open about so much but this is one of those things I just do a 180 about. Catholic guilt? Male stripper traumatization? Loyalty to my men? Probably all of the above. Always be kinder than you feel.
  17. LOL! I was at a bar earlier than this band started. Didn't know it was "ladies night" in the early evening. I had on a great, expensive new outfit. These coked out looking guidos started dancing on the bar and trying to rub on me, literally shaking his little banana hammock thing near my face. His leg hit me and freaking oil rubbed off his leg onto the arm of this beautiful shirt and ruined it. He stank like body odor and Azzaro cologne and freaking glitter was flying off him as he moved. It was traumatizing. ETA: I think I was about 21 or 22 years old at the time. Always be kinder than you feel.
  18. I just had this discussion with a male friend. I have absolutely no interest in reading the 50 Shades books or even seeing the movie Magic Mike. Believe it or not those male dancers make me extremely uncomfortable and I do not like guys shaking their junk in my face for money. I think it's gross. Now, as my friend said to me, maybe this particular book is for people who do not have a very active imagination in the bedroom. Maybe that's why they may think it's so great? Maybe those of us who have no problem letting our freak flags fly would rather just do it in real life instead of just reading about it? I don't know... just some thoughts. Always be kinder than you feel.
  19. Hey, I was a hardcore prep back in the day. It's hard to totally give that up. Always be kinder than you feel.
  20. Today for work I wore jeans and a Ralph Lauren polo shirt tucked into my jeans (cute brown leather belt) and the collar was popped. But I also was wearing pearls. It looked cute. Always be kinder than you feel.
  21. Good luck with your surgery. I am recovering from a torn MCL and patellar femoral ligament tear and dislocated kneecap. I am almost 3 months out from the injury and I just stopped wearing a brace 16 days ago but I am walking with a small limp and the leg is weaker and the kneecap still off track a bit. I also went to Rothman Institute down my way (right outside of Atlantic City) and I am thrilled with the care I'm receiving but my ortho says no jumping this season at all. Too much risk to the ligaments still... After reading what you and Chad have been going through I feel like a chump with all of the complaining I did about my injury over the last almost 3 months. I will keep both of you in my prayers and I hope you have a smooth surgery experience! PS - I loved trying to watch 2 foot surgeries I had while under the nerve block but I also had the twilight!! It was awesome!! The sound of the drill and saw woke me up, I lifted my head up and asked my doctor if I could watch. LOL... Awesome!! Again, best of luck and listen to your body!! It'll tell you when it's ready for action!! Always be kinder than you feel.
  22. Awesome!! Congratulations to you both!! When are you due? Come home soon and check out the Revel. Amazing!! Not the Atlantic City where we grew up anymore!! C-section June 26th! I've heard of the Revel. The AC WE grew up with? I remember AC before Casinos, girlie! That is so awesome!! It's funny how things work out, isn't it?? YAY you!! I remember before the casinos! My maternal grandparents lived in the Best of Life Park high rise right behind where the Taj Mahal is now. 8th floor. We could see all the way to Ocean City without obstructions (except The Ritz - Nucky Johnson's home for you Boardwalk Empire watchers!!) back then!! Amazingly, the building is still there. We stayed at Showboat a couple of months ago and our room faced south and I could look down that little "high rise" was miniscule!! Ahhh... so sentimental!! Bayfest 2012 in Somers Point this Saturday!! Bay Avenue is closed off from Somers Point-Longport Boulevard (Sodas? Remember that place?!) down to old Waterfront, near The Clam Bar!! Ahhhhh!!! Love it here!! PS - If you ever make it back I'd love to catch up!!
  23. I am invoking my 5th Amendment privilege. That's a right, not a privilege. Heya stranger. I always say that on purpose. I work for the Judiciary, remember??!! Whazzup, stranger? COngrats on the new job. Yay Facebook. Always be kinder than you feel.
