IFLY and Skyventure are one in the same. IFLY denotes a corporate tunnel. If it is a "Skyventure" tunnel it is a franchise tunnel but built by the same people. I am pretty sure I have that right. Most tunnels now are IFLY bc they are moving towards corporate tunnels and away from franchise opportunities..... that is what I was told. Not at you Muff... Just a general post. I love science and I love God. I think many would have a problem with that statement. I am also okay with loving people that I know will never have faith in God. I learned long ago not all will believe. You have free will.... The choice is yours. I am going to show Christ through my actions and words. I believe He is showing himself to everyone in many ways. If you miss it or rather choose to dismiss it.... That is your choice. So I am heading to Quebec on business next week and just found out I will have Wednesday evening and Thursday (all day) to do what I want. So.... the rig is now coming with me. I used the google but I was curious what recommendations y'all have if any? I could not find a tunnel there but I know there is one in Montreal. Am I wrong? Let me know about DZ's. Cheers! I waited 4 weeks. I wear a full face but I did not want to risk it. I spoke to the doc and he said 2 weeks I should be fine 4 weeks totally fine. He was also a former fighter pilot and later went on to perform LASIK on many a pilots in the ilitary before retiring from service. You are going to love it! One of the best things I ever did! If you are double stowing any lines I was always taught the locking stows are the ones that should get that treatment. With an old canopy I had I double stowed the locking lines and single stowed the other with large rubber bands. If you are double stowing the other lines I say double stow them all. Currently I do single stow my locking lines but with small rubber bands. If you are using large rubber bands I would double stow them all. The ones you want most secure are the locking stows. All of this varies from canopy to canopy and it matter what size bite you have and are they even with even pressure on opposing sides.... you could also be a bit head low with your jump numbers and not realize it. I would still advise like other have to reach out to PD but video of openings as well as your body position would be beneficial. Edit: What Doug is asking is important. I've done it both ways. Lots of variables. Life is rarely black and white. I tell a student in the dive plan review at the end..... if I am telling you to pull by pointing at you.... PULL. If you don't, you may get it again..... "may". The last indication you will see is my deployment. If I deploy you better get some fabric over your head and fast. This is the part of the dive flow that I lose all the fun in me and get very serious. I make sure they understand and during the ride up I will ask them multiple times "what does this mean" and point at them. I do this in between reviewing altitude requirements on the way up. I try to be as thorough as my AFFI's were on my first AFF. I am not sure a lot of coaches do this. I hope they do. Some coaches have the skill but I agree most do not. I have even practiced the AFF skills many times with AFFI's. I for one do not want that though. I chose to just stay a coach and not get my AFF for this very reason. I do not want to pull for a student. It is a personal choice and I do not think the rating should change. Thanks! Mike, I did quite a few jumps out of your rocketship at Rantoul back in 02,03 and I remember some of your kids. One of them was tearing it up on a velocity. His age I shall keep on the down low I also remember the backflip challenge in zero-g. He was successful. He loves doing the zero G backflip. Mike has great kids! The ones I have met at Richmond "The Boogie" were great skydivers and good kids all around. Agreed Sparky but when I first posted this I did not know how bad it was or how it would feel when I was going to jump. That being said..... I never loss any mobility in it and it has healed quickly. At that time I think it would have been 50/50 and I would have jumped a bigger canopy had I decided to jump. I didn't jump bc of weather but it was diagnosed as an avulsion fracture so you were dead on. It is not too bad but still really stiff. I am just resting it until spring. That amount of time should really help. my wife likes to remind me that "even a broken clock is correct twice a day". Spring should be enough time if youre otherwise healthy.

got an x-ray... avulsion fracture. Freaked me out bc I thought great... gonna be in a cast now bc doc wanted to put me in one.... I said no for now so I could drive to the Ortho. Drove to the Ortho thinking the worst and that doc said.... looks good and it is not a big deal. Swelling will go down and the tunnel is fine. Also added by weeks end if it improves and I wear a good brace I should be good to jump barring a bad landing. I think I will just hit the tunnel but if it feels good I may do 1 or 2 jumps.
