  2. ive been broke as fuck a few time the past few years and have thought about selling my rig. It is all I have thats worth anything. I would never sell the whole thing, if I had to i would probably start by selling the Main to get some cash. that way if I wanted to get back into jumping it would be pretty easy to replace with something, if I sold my saf2 for $1300 to get ahead im sure I could find another canopy for $300 that I could use until things got better. Life in a Bag

One thing we get great entertainment out of in Ton Said is the roller luggage races. Ppeople think roller luggage is great, then they get dumped on the beach and realise there are no roads or sealed surfaces. Then they get to do laps up and down the beach trying to find accommodations, leaving a trench in the sand behind them. Its almost as much fun to watch as the low tide kayak hike. People rent a kayak at high tide then come back at low tide to discover that they have to hike about 500M over dead coral, and they are alwAys barefoot. Life in a Bag

I got a new back pack from work at our Christmas party. I haven't packed for Thailand yet but I should be around 6 or 7 kg, that's for 3 weeks. Last year I travellred Asia for 4months with 8kg and didn't use half of what I took. I love travelling with nothing but carry on. I booked business class for my flight back to Perth because it was a bargain, should be fun stumbling onto that flight. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  14. OR you could have all of that and a little motorhome toboot or I could just keep on offering myself to the women who already have a van Your Canadian charms didnt work on me Cobar ground was hotter for you in the tent than me in the Van Ya that kinda fucking sucked. I bet rich people have never slept in a $20 tent on a yoga matt during a heatwave in the middle of australia. it was seriously like 30C radiating off the ground I was trying to sleep on. I guess rich people will never get to tell that story Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

  20. If I were to thank everyone who has done amazing things to help me in my skydiving travels it would be a very very long list. I am amazed at the open outpouring of help and generosity that can be found in the skydiving community. People you have never met go out of their way help out others in so many ways. The first boogie I attended on my own was the Lost Prairie boogie in 2009. I had around 100 jumps and 2nd year in the sport so I was still pretty new and going to a boogie where I didnt know anyone was a pretty scary idea. Earlier that season I had bought an ancient monster of a camper van, whcih of course broke down just outside of kalispel. I had it towed into town to get fixed. I thought the boogie was over for me before it even began. I had no way to get to the dz, no vehicle and no where to sleep. I ended up calling the dz and explained what had happened. They organized for someone to come and pick me up from town. I thought well at least I will make it to the boogie. Then when I got there they had found an extra tent, matress and sleeping bag for me to use. I was absolutly blown away by how helpful these people were who i had never met. Later that night around the bonfire I met naked Dave... im sure the rest of you know the end to that story... so you can blame Dave for that one That was when I realised what an amazing group of people skydivers are. Since then I have shared some of the most amazing experiences of life with skydivers, that had nothing to do with skydiving. In australia alone I have probably driven most of the way around the country just because there was another jumper who was doing a big trip and said jump in dude, come for a ride. Earlier this year Squeak drove me from brisbane back to perth over about 8 days, and pretty much tailored the trip to what I wanted to stop in and see. It was awesome! Then back in perth he let me stay at his house and use it as a home base while I was working and travelling. For 10 months! This is by far the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me in my life, even if he is a dickhead Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  21. ive bought cars for what what most people pay per month in financing. Ive only ever financed a new vehicle once, and I hated it. Thankfully it managed to end up on its roof and insuranced payed for it. When I was younger I could not afford to pay someone to fix my POS cars so I had no choice but to learn how to do it myself. As for the being rich thing, Im probably not that good with my money. Aside from RRSPs and Super I have very little for the retirement fund. At the moment I have maybe $10k in assets. I live a very minimalistic lifestyle, almost everything I own I can carry on my back. For the past 5 years I have worked less than 6 months per year, been around the world a few times, absolutley living my dreams, and there always seems to be some money in the bank and beers in the fridge
  22. The outside observers aren't in our world.Yes we are The same problems exists in Australia. I know of a dz that has closed and another that has pretty heavy restrictions. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  23. Air Asia flights out of KL to Australia can be very, very cheap. Your best option for jumping would be to follow the Aussie boogie schedule. Also look up KL skydive on Facebook. They seem to jump occasionally. Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
  24. What an accomplishment. Cheif, there's some things a man just as well keep to himself. This is one of them. It's offensive and sexist. Maybe you've heard about the rule that instructors are morally obligated to abstain from sexual activities with paying customers? If you knew that, then this little scenario tells us just what kind of guy you really are, which is hardly anything to be proud of. Best- Richard Good thing IM not an instructor or I would be in a lot of trouble... Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)
