Don't you think that any survey where you only have 3% response rate adds significant bias? This is not the same as a 3% sample size. When you selected someone to be part of your sample (in this case the sample size is actually 400k) you better make sure they respond. You should know that ensuring randomization of the sampled subjects is crucial, and therefore, getting such a low rate of response pretty much guarantees skewing of results. But you would know all that being a 6 sigma professional right? So, when gallup or some other do a poll of a 1000 registered voters, you have the same opinion? After all, what percentage whould that be? You could have had a significant survey (95% at 5%) of law enforcement professional with a properly randomized sample size of less than 400. But you know that, right? Remster

On top of that, 15k responses out of 400k people asked to participate???? 6 Sigma? Really? Remster

Shows that The certification doens't mean much anymore... You really do not see anything wrong with doing a survey using a list of people who registered to a website? And you call yourself a quality expert? Nice.... Remster

I give up.... You really need to read up on what is sampling bias. Remster

i know exactly what it is The poll was used to get the opinions of the LEO community Hense, a survey of LEO's 400,000 members But you don't use a website list of members... jeeez.... Remster

I think it is interesting and useful what the people charged with investigating crimes think about gun control. In that light it's no sampling bias. It's sampling bias that they asked members of a particular website. Had they done a proper survey, they would have asked law enforcement official at large. Remster

You do know what sampling bias is, yes? So, if you wanted to sample police officers, do you think polling the ones who are actively involved on a particular website is not biased? It's like asking dz.com users if technology is important in skydiving. Remster

Sampling fail. I disagree Shocking. Remster

I think it's hard to come up with an absolute answer on this... I could say one thing, and then the most awesomest deal comes up on the other option that makes any answer look stupid. This being said, a few of the people who sell complete rigs have some sort of sentimental attachment to it it seems, which makes them list a higher price. Remster

Yes, but at a 1.8 wingload, so it wont compare. Why do you want to compare a canopy that is not loaded at what the manuf recommends? Remster

There is no equivalent of the Pope, Islam isn't a single denomination anymore than Christianity, does the Pope speak for Baptist, Anglicans, Methodists etc.. No and Islam is nt organised in the same way as Christianity. What about the secret handshake? Oh, wait, it's a secret. Never mind. Now, we're going to have to kill you. Remster

I can get you a discount from guy named Hey Zeus. I'd pay good money to have a Greek god mow my lawn! hey... If there's such a service for house cleaning, maybe we should start one for outside work! I'm taking the Bacchus persona. Remster

New Royal Caribbean Ships promise an onboard Windtunnel

I believe you are refering to Carnival Cruise lines. I cruise at least twice a year with RCL and have never seen or heard of an issue. And earlier, yes I talked to Skyventure and its a 10 foot recirculating. Early cruise bookings start for Crown and Anchor members in 2 weeks. I am anxiously awaiting to book my first cruise on the Quantum. We expect a full report! Remster -
I'm outraged that this school is forcing kids to learn how to eskimo kiss "inuit" please It's PC sexual deviants like you that are sending society to the dogs. See.. With liberals like you, it's a slippery slope... Dogs, cats, soon you'll be asking if you can marry your rhododendron. Remster

Next time you're in Eloy, ask around to try some. Remster

Their prices are crazy. If you can try a few different models, do that. How the belts sit on your hips and where the weights are in reference to your rig will change the comfort drastically. My wife ended up making her own (she wears between 15 and 28 lbs). Remster
