Our team did 8 jumps a day, over the weekend, on 1 rig each (well except the 2 losers who had a reserve ride lol), and we were done by 2 pm each day. That's with creeping or debriefing between jumps. You don't need 2 rigs to do the numbers you are looking at. You need a good DZ with plenty of lifts. Remster

Skydiving/Dropzone related jobs

True for smaller DZ's, but larger DZ often have marketing managers, office managers, operations managers, and the likes. Remster -
That's because he was a scary catholic in a land of protestants. Remster

Are you 150 and 5'6, or 150 and 6'3? Keep in mind you may end up wearing weights during some (or most) of your jumps, depending on that answer. Remster

That feeling? In your belly? It probably is dysentery. I'd get that checked if I were ya Remster

My opinion. Consistent back to backs: you need to have a plan in place before the day as to what your jumps will be. You will have no time to prep in between jumps. Most people who do that have a 2 or 4 jump plan at a time (say, 2 different jumps, repeated, already prepped). Why? jumping just to add another digit top your log book won't be that effective in improving your skills. If you do that, have 2 rigs that are carbon copies of each other (or as close to it as you can). The odd back to back, or the packer is getting behind once in a while: a pair of carbon copy rigs would still be ideal, but, in reality, 2 -about the same- rigs will do. And, a back to back day should be easily 10 (at the very least) to 15-18 jumps. Plan for that, both for food, energy, planning. If you feel that's too much, you don't need a second rig. Remster

Head-down to belly - considerations?

Anyone can get giant gonads now: http://www.neuticles.com/ultra.php Remster -
I guess it's just lost in translation. To a english reader, Max Suspended Weight is the maximum that should be loaded on that canopy, period. If as you say, it's the Max Recommended weight, then that makes more sense. Thanks for the clarification!

Head-down to belly - considerations?
Remster replied to davidg39's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Really? You're recommending to a newbie with 30 odd jumps to do a back track, when they have no landmarks to keep a heading, and they already are swooshing around the sky on their "head down" solo? This is why you need to talk to people in person. Remster -

Head-down to belly - considerations?
Remster replied to davidg39's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Here's an idea! I know, it's kinda out there, but it may work. You jump at what is possibly the DZ with the best skydivers and coaches available in the world (no offence to any other DZ, but ya'all suck ). Why don't you ask any of the experienced folks in the hangar? I know any of the LO's would be happy to chat about this and your progression. Remster -
