    I know a guy who frequents Hollister DZ in Northern California who has 90+ jumps and has yet to get his A license. For some reason or another, he hasn't done the 3500ft hop n pop!

    Once you clear the basic AFF skills (usually 7 jumps) you can start self-supervising. You will have to perform a few coach jumps, and at least one jump with a jumpmaster (your A license check). Coach jumps I have seen range from free (some people just like to mentor and pay for there own ticket) to $50. It seems usual that if you hunt down a coach and buy a ticket, you're probably good to go. I've seen people clear all their skills in 1 packed coach dive (docking, swooping, alt adjust, tracking) but it probably should take 2 or 3 coach dives.

    Whats the usual fee both the escrow rigger (seller's rigger) and the buyers rigger (inspecting rigger) would charge? I would assume seller's rigger would take a percent, while buyer's rigger would take an inspection fee?

The instructions seem to imply that this is a step in the Quick start. Should I be concerned that this unit was not actually new? (Everything else looks new) ....TIA

    Oops... forgot important details. I did my first AFF jumps on a 220, and then rounded them out on a 190. After a few more jumps on that, possibly considering going down further...

    Howdy, fairly new to the sport (10 dives) and interested in picking up a container that fits my frame well. I'm 5'1" tall, and a touch stocky. Anyone have any suggestions (possibly for female of same height/weight) that would work well for me? Thanks!
