Cuba Gooding, Jr. is fantastic. If anyone can say different after seeing "Radio" or "Men of Honor" then there must be something wrong. I also really like Robin Williams. He's turned from funny/silly movies to serious roles lately and I love it. "What Dreams May Come" has to be one of my very favorite movies. It would have never been the same without Mr. Williams in the lead role.

My mom and I read somewhere, years ago, that if a man's second toe is longer than his big toe, then he is a good lover. Since then it's been a running private joke. She asked me once, "So, what are his toes like?" and I almost DIED!! -
My mom is proud of me and brags, but would be happy if I never jumped again. She also buys me skydiving shirts and other "skydivey" (her word!) things for gifts. I have asked for jump tickets but she hasn't gone that far yet. My dad made about 30 jumps, my brother did 3 S/L, and my grandmother did a tandem when she was 73. Mom has ridden in the jump plane but will never jump.

How could I have forgotten that song. They usually only play that around Christmas time, and I love it, but it always chokes me up.

That's terrible. Luckily no one was home so they are all safe. I'm sure they are blessed with, and grateful for, that.

"Come What May" by Ewen McGregor and Nicole Kidman from Moulin Rouge. Absolutely my favorite song, but it always puts a lump in my throat. I hate Rod Stewart, I change the station when I hear one of his songs come on, but "Have I Told You Lately" was played at a friend's funeral a couple of years ago. I always listen now, and I always cry.

FFF, as Diva said, you are a skydiver and always will be. You have so many friends here who don't "see" you in the forums often enough. Just think of this as your time to become a post whore and tell us all about your adventures. Life as you know it may be changing, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. This is just another chapter in your life and you get to decide how to write it. Don't be a stranger. Pop in a say hi. I've missed you, and it's nice to see your name on the screen again.

[replyYou've got to be careful with J when you refer to a "strip of clubs" so he doesn't mis interpret that as "stripclubs" BTW...you and I have missed each other esp at Skyfest this year..so I hope you'll be at zhills this weekend and I can give ya a big hug for my sis Becca who's out BASE jumpin out West right now. What made me crack up is that she just called and said "there's freakin SNOW out here!"..and us South Floridians don't know what that white shit is... Belive me, as I was writing it, I thought, "Oh crap. This isn't going to work." But I couldn't think of another way to put it at the time! I know... we keep missing each other. I'm not sure if I'll be at the dz this weekend. If I am, I'll be sure to let you know!!
