  1. That's what I said... but they didn't seem to care... Not having sex at all is really not a very good option. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  2. I didn't see this, and you are soon to be in a world of hurt. I like most things, but what I like best requires pregnancy and STD prevention. It's just that pregnancy and STD prevention is either a bloody nuisance or permanent. There are no good choices, only choices that are the least of all evils. The pill actually killed a friend of mine. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  3. Well, maybe I'll go out and buy a couple of boxes and do a survey. A survey? ohhhh I love surveys... It all depends on whether I'm motivated enough to like up a group of test subjects. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

  5. I've used them. Once. The problem with anything that's a spermicide is twofold: if an allergy doesn't get you, the taste will kill you. At least with the a diaphragm or the sponge, you can insert and rinse, and you've solved the latter problem. The film, however, does melt and run. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  6. The IUD wasn't quite that bad, but it was bad enough. Actually a diaphragm or the Sponge works just fine. Even at my advanced age, I'm still ovulating regularly, but I have trouble getting pregnant because of my thyroid. I don't know how that works, exactly, but I had a year-long intimate relationship with a basal temperature thermometer trying to get pregnant with Beck. I actually remember the exact date and time of her conception. At the moment, I find that celibacy is solving the problem...annoyingly well. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  7. There are far better ways to prevent that particular STD than condoms. I've never had an STD of any kind, and I don't want one. But I still hate condoms. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  8. You just described a condom. Addendum: does not prevent essential skin-to-skin contact. I hate condoms. Hate 'em. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  9. I HATE condoms. (This prevents me from being the promiscuous slut I aspire to be.) I've been on the pill, but hormonal forms of birth control do weird things to my body, even at low doses. I tried an IUD and nearly bled to death. Well, okay, not really, but it was a mess. All in all, it would be nice if someone would invent a form of birth control that isn't messy, doesn't mess with normal body function and isn't much trouble to use. 10. (I wonder what it would be like to have beck and rhonda tag team me w/ whips and riding crops?) If you head to the airport now, you can be in Tierra del Fuego before she sees this post. I pray you never run into her in an alley, dark or otherwise. You're in so much trouble, Michael. I can't wait. If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. All my passwords are numeric, except for a couple of sites that insist on letters and numbers. I never used "skydive" but I did at one time use an ex-boyfriend's name as my password. I think my next password change is going to be to "funksistoast." If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

  16. What a fun thread! Sorry I missed it. I guess my only question is this: If I agree with and defend Rebecca, do that make me gay? rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  17. I could handle the other woman, but Winn Dixie? I'm so overwrought, I've instantly changed my orientation to short green guys. rl, who is heartily sick of this thread If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  18. Arlo and I are supposed to have a regular weekly date at Publix but she stood me up the last few times. Do you think she's cheating on me? rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  19. I'm not in DeLand for much longer. Please tell them to hurry. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  20. I'm 53% gay. One of those happy, well-adjusted hetero babes. I thought some of the questions were pretty weird, though, and just for the record, I think Elvis was neither beautiful nor handsome. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
  21. Y'know, anyone who has ever actually had to remove insect larva from flesh (I used to have to remove maggots from animal rehab patients) would know that picture is photoshopped... ...but did you see the video on that same Snopes page? rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. 22. Good thoughts. Ongoing. As usual. I didn't answer the phone because I was out to dinner. Call me tomorrow, okay? Hugs, rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
