  3. Tara and I are heading out to Perris for our first tunnel time ( 1hr camp), I'm anxious to see what the learning curve will be like and how my body will hold up!!, I believe 1hr over three days I imagine 20min/day. Mainly focusing on on freefly, so I imagine quite some time on my back before I get to try sitting? anyways I just wanna get in there. Will be sure to write a review wen we get back. I read a bunch of post here, but any extra feedback or FYI about the Tunnel, Perris, etc appreciated, we leave the 22 Mike Just Go with it
  4. From what point to what point do i have to measure on a riser to figure out the length I have? When unhooked from the container do I measure from the end of material from the rapid link to the edge of material on the largest three ring? i understand the smallest riser sunpath makes ( this is in regards to a javelin NJ) (unless special order, i'm assuming) is 20", does someone make an 18" riser that's compatible to a Javelin. or what is the best way to measure the desired length for a specific person? When we do get a shorter set, will I have to shorten steering lines? What can i expect if anything on canopy performance or flight characteristic changes. But really all we want to be able to do is easily reach the slider. If anyone is wondering the reason for the desired shorter riser, it is for someone 4'9", i also use the rig as my second :-) I'm 5'9" so I would like to find something that suits as both currently neither of us can reach the slider, I can but I have to climb up to reach it regardless any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike C.
  5. Since I didn't get any responses on a previous post, perhaps I could get some feedback regarding these two helmets. As I search for the ideal new helmet for me, these 2 are now my candidates, It looks like the Optik comes with a ratchet style chincup? and the Hawkeye its a $50 option. therefore it looks like the optik is about $50 dollars less with the same options, ( both side and top mount) is the hawkeye worth the extra money? Is there more I should be concerned with? Also what do people recommend for brackets (side mount). I look forward to some replies or insight, previous experience. thanks
  6. Greetings, I recently purchased a new PC9, I used to have a PC1 with an Alpha z1 (open face) with an alluminum "C" bracket, however i would like to have this camera enclosed. Any suggestions what will work and look good with a Hawkeye LS helmet (which I plan on purchasing soon). Any feedback will be appreciated Blue Ones. Mike
