The profanities came about on the first jump. As soon as I opened and realized I was alive, a whole lotta "holy sh$t!" and "this is f$uckin amazin" and "yee f*ckin haw" came out of my mouth. the most recent nickname I have had is "Greenspan" --I guees I had just finished a couple eco classes and it was a long ride to New Orleans for Spring Break. I had to talk about something besides skydiving. Otherwise they just called me Stelter. My roomate calls me Dumbass. Otherwise, my life long nickname is Rosebud. middle name rose. Inhigh school, it was "Flea Jr." somehow that came from Powderpuff. this thread got me thinking (gasp!). Ok, I always used to think that the high school mentality of being judgemental and gossipy would go away after I made it though that phase of my life. Then I started a new job and found that it was just as bad, if not worse. Then I went on to college and found that people are the same way there. I started skydiving, and I thought, Wow, really cool people. They don't seem to judge people or gossip. I guess that was because I didn't know anybody yet. Skydiving does have really cool people from all different walks of life. But, they are still people. I think that wherever you go, whatever you do, you will encounter people that prejudge and gossip. haha, glad you are ok. I mixed up contact stuff as well, but I wasn' t the one who suffered. My roomate asked for eyedrops, so I gave them to her. Unfortunately, it was protein remover drops. Yikes! I think at about 7 beers I am drunk, but I don't really know. . Usually after 6 I stop counting because the six pack is gone and have moved on to something else.
