Study shows that climate skeptics are smarter than alarmists

"Dog bites man". Science is all about skepticism. Except when it comes to Global Warming. Then the science is settled. Remember? -

{runs down street screaming} I WANT TO LIVE, I WANT TO LIVE....... -
When I was much younger and much dumber, I was visiting friends in Pensacola Fl. The last night there, I was physically drug out to the clubs and got back at 6am totally shit-faced. I slept for 2 hours and got up still shit-faced and drove non-stop to Reston, Va. I was rushed because this was Christmas Eve and I had to be back to open presents with my GF's family at 4am. This was back when the maximum speed limit was 55 mph. I drove it straight through, stopping only for gas and while the pump was running, I went in and bought coffee. I made it back around 3:30 am. I did take a couple of dexedrines to help take the edge off the massive hangover I had all the way back.

Can you help me out here? My quick Google search hasn't yet found a concise name-by-name list of all these people, in which each person's party is identified. I'm curious to know how many of them are Democrats. Any at all? I rather see the list of those who DON'T think he should resign. I'm pretty sure that list would be more interesting. It would also give us something to confront our own Senators and Congresspeople on before the next election. I'm not aware of a list of those who've affirmatively said they don't want him to resign; they're simply absent from the list of those who do. My point being, obviously, that this is just standard posturing from the opposition party in a republic; nothing less, but nothing more. Making more of it than it really is, is just silly. That's sounds like what they said about Watergate. That it was just a small burglary where nothing of any real monetary value was taken, Over 300 deaths from a failed operation and then the cover-up would make it a big story if it was a Republican administration. I see little difference between this and Iran-Contra.

Muslim Children Taught to Chop Off Hands of Thieves, Hate Jews

Why not, they form part of the government that is a strong ally with the "government" promoting this curriculum. Stretch much? -
As have Obama's. That's the point.

Yet another thread for venting your hatred for the war!
Gravitymaster replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
That's funny, that's not how George senior seems to remember it. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x67138 Oh, great. A link to the left-wing idiots at DU. Here, learn something. The main reason they didn't go to Bagdad is because they were afraid the coalition would not go along since it was not part of the U.N. mandate. http://www.dtic.mil/cgi-bin/GetTRDoc?AD=ADA493626 If you would have even clicked on my link you would have saw a you tube video Of 41 explaining to fox news why he did not go all the way. You OTOH provide an academic paper that starts with: I'll take 41's own words for why he did go to Baghdad. I don't get your argument. Obviously they gave consideration to going into Bagdad but didn't because they knew the coalition would fall apart because the U.N. mmandate didn't allow for it. How are we in disagreement except you seem to think they never considered it. I think that would be naive to think it wasn't even considered. -
$21,700 for a family income is pathetic. Send the wife out to work or get a better/second job. Clearly more income is needed to maintain the lifestyle. Sure, the wife goes out and adds another $20,000. Then the family decides that's a great reason to increase the spending by another $30,000 yay, now it sucks more In the end, it's that $385 that we should all be ashamed of. You just want old people and children to starve. Won't someone PLEASE think about the children?

Here's what Bush said 4 years earlier:

Thanks for that. That changes everything.

Seems like Obama hit the nail on the head. Apparently your Obama Defense Syndrome is over amped today. I'm not attacking Obama. I'm saying he has tried but has not had the cooperation from the other side. You do realize this thread is about Iran, right?
-
One of Obama's statements during his campaign was: How's that working out? Ideologically it sounds good but it requires an effort from both sides.
-
Nice.

Bush 41 wanted to continue into Bagdad and take out Hussein. The only reason he didn't was because the U.N. mandate did not allow it. So there goes that part of your argument. The rest of your imagined psycholgical poppycock has absolutely no basis in fact as neither you nor anyone else who spouts these lies has ever done a psychological profile on either one of them. That means that while it nay make interesting conversation in the Bars, it has no basis in reality. So there goes the rest of your argument. -

What's sad is the number of people who believe this Liberal Lie. Do you even remember where you received this programming or is it so embedded in your psyche' that it's impossible to remove? -

Well, not everyone hates Bush. Especially the Syrians who could use a little help overthrowing their King. -

I agree he can be an asshole and I have changed the channel on him as well as Schultz and Maddow and Hannity because I find the screaming back and forth annoying and not productive. However, that's not really the point. The point is that O'Reilly is often rude to everyone. Not just Ron Paul. R.P. supporters seem very defensive of their candidate IMO. They don't like to see him called out and challenged on the issues. They view this as some type of smite on him.
-
Probably a good deal better. Fox tries to sabotage him, and everyone else tries to ignore him. Bullshit. Fox News has given Ron Paul a platform to express his views moreso than any other network. He's been on Hannity, OReilly and Chris Wallace several times and he was always given a great opportunity to reach Republican voters. Might want to youtube those "interviews". They never gave him an opportunity to reach Republican voters. They brought him on there to try and rip into him and in turn made themselves look stupid when he did really well at defending himself, that is for the few seconds they gave him to actually talk. You really need to see O'Reilly's interview of him. Its ridiculous. O'Reilly never let him finish a point. When he's not on their shows they ignore the fact that he exists and only talk about Newt and Romney like they're the only contenders. Check out Jon Stewarts video on this. Its pretty funny. I watched Cavuto ask Chris Wallace what if Ron Paul wins the Iowa caucus after Wallace kept talking like Newt and Romney were the only candidates. Chris Wallace with a straight face, said it would completely discredit Iowa caucus. What a douche. Sorry but I think it's just your perception. One thing I have noticed by Ron Paul and many of his supporters is they become very defensive whenever RP is called out on some of his views. He seems not to like it when he's given the opportunity to explain in more depth. I have also noticed that many of his supporters seem to have the same defensiveness. I have watch Romney, Gingrich, Bachman and Perry get the same scrutiny from Wallace, O'Reilly, Baier and Hannity. I think if you watch or listen to some of the interviews with Romney etc. with an open mind, you will see they get grilled also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKIuwNnAWIU&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6eMt4Hz0FA&feature=related As for O'Reilly.. he interrupts everyone he interviews. I think he does it mostly when he feels the person being interviewed is spinning or trying to change the subject or just bogging down in details which his viewers find boring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=BDdM1q6qOfU
