know of any dropzones in the GA/AL area that would allow a 16 y/o to do a tandem skydive? A buddy of mine really wants to jump, but I haven't found any DZ's around that will allow it. I understand the reasoning behind it, what with not being able to enter into a legally binding contract, etc. but I told him I would ask. Thanks!

That's awesome! Congrats! I can't wait to start AFF. I'm so freakin nervous about flying that canopy by myself. I just dont want to forget the pattern. Is it hard to do it by yourself? Take risks not to to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping. -

Hullo everyone! I just did my first jump a few weeks ago (tandem) and was absolutely hooked. I'm hoping to start AFF sometime in June and can't wait! My family is pretty much tired of hearing me go on and on about skydiving, so I figured I'd get it out of my system here .
