I suspect it takes more than a turbine operating out of an airport 6 miles away to get Nat grumpy. My boyfriend snores louder than a turbine and he is right next to me!!! So you are awake anyway. Quit your bitchin!

You were insulted because you got a late invite so you decided to steal from the company using the company credit card and post about it on the internet. Stay classy -

Well, there ya go -- these elevated levels of contaminants have absolutely nothing to do with fracking. Case closed. Big difference between "can't conclusively identify" which you highlighted from the story and your conclusion of "have absolutely nothing to do with fracking" that you jumped to. As I said, jury is still out. -

Well shit Sherlock, maybe the jury is still out. http://news.yahoo.com/researchers-elevated-levels-heavy-metals-173704372.html -

So? -

I still expect someone to show up shortly and jump up and down screaming it's not the pilots fault!!! You people just don't know anything about flying!

This type of common sense and logic will not be tolerated here in the speakers corner! -

I'm pretty sure #6 will prove to be true as well.

Ron = FAIL! Ron... who owns your body after God? "Please the court, I suggest the members be dismissed... so that we can move to an immediate Article 39-A session. The witness has rights."

So you believe that abortion should be legal and it is up to the woman and her doctor to decide what is best? It is legal and that will not change. I think it is evil. The question was do you think it should be legal????? Why can't you just answer the question asked? -

CNN has been showing actual video of the crash since Sunday afternoon. Clearly showing the rear of the airplane get pretty high up as it ground loops around.

After listening to the Sunday afternoon NTSB briefing where they discussed what they have from the cockpit voice recorder and the data recorder is sounds very bad for the pilot. Airspeed significantly lower than planned verbally. (137 knots planned) No concerns until 7 seconds from impact when one of the pilots calls for more speed. Stick shaker 4 seconds before impact. 1.5 seconds from impact one of the pilots calls for a go around. NTSB noted that from the data recorder the engines were responding once the crew tried to power up. Just sounds to me like they came in too slow, too low, and didn't realize how bad it was until too late. We'll have to see what else they find in the investigation.

Is this the way police should be treating the victims of an airliner crash just for speaking to the press? I've heard several other cellphone interviews with those who were onboard so why are they so heavy handed with this kid? note: this is not meant to fuel the tin foil hat brigade http://news.yahoo.com/video/crash-not-cause-engine-failure-094610367.html -

Hey! They stole Jeb's theme music. If they stole it from Jeb they would of known to mount way more gopros to those carts

Have that had many accidents with the 777 or are you confusing this with the recent 787 Dreamliner issues?

Journalist who exposed American military killed in car crash

The tinfoil hat crowd never disappoints. -
I wouldn't bet on that -

also in 1974 Motorola reported disappointing sales of the new cell phone..... FYI a circa 1974 cell phone is also NOT a Chevy volt. I know it can be confusing. Oh shoot, thanks. Now back to this dead horse you've adopted. The Volt may not be a home run but that doesn't mean the technology is not worth pursuing. Other manufacturers are doing better in the field and the lessons learned from these various early forays into the field including the Volt will be used in future versions from all car makers. -

Yup...like the guy from Canada that was staying with my neighbor last week. Came from his industrialized homeland with universal health care to 3rd world ole backwater Houston Texas ~ so he could get kidney surgery in time to save his life, instead of waiting on the list until next year or hoping someone else dies and there's a open slot earlier. I just can't WAIT until we catch-up to those guys!! He should of shopped around, he could of found a cheaper country with equal quality. Medical tourism is for real.

Seeing a fresh strawberry in January means it's been genetically altered??? Thanks for the laugh If it's a blue strawberry yes but otherwise your statement is just a great example of the general public's lack of knowledge and misunderstandings in the field of gmo's. Know what the largest producing state of strawberries in the U.S. is? Know what months they are harvested? Just a guess here, but Plant City, Florida used to be the Strawberry Capital of the World until Louisiana took it away. Now I see a lot coming from California. These are winter crops? California would be correct with over 80% of the U.S. production and given the different regions within California they are harvested in every month of the year. Florida does come in second.
