  1. Sure but can she skydive like all the hotties we have here
  2. So what? She STILL cannot sign away other people's rights. The parents are perfectly entitled to sue and the court is entitled to render a judgment which may take into account the facts that you have stated. So do you think her parents should get any money for this lawsuit??
  3. Don't forget to take the tape off
  4. Congrats Lisa!!!!!!
  5. Don't throw a party just yet As you stated the wffc site says it will be arriving on Thursday, it DOES NOT SAY that it is comfirmed to be flying any jumpers YET.... keep your fingers crossed. As for flying "everyday, morning and evening" I'm sure a minimum will be required to put that baby in the air and at $100. a jump that may limit the numbers of loads to just a few. Maybe "wffc" Michael can find out the minimum for us??
  6. Thats cool. Just dont hold your breath. Putting the testing off for a week (at the earliest) just a couple weeks before the convention strikes me as...I dunno... Stupid. Either that or preparing an excuse for why it wont fly jumpers. Well we just couldnt complete the testing in time...sorry I think people looking back in 20 years will remeber the WFFC as 'The place that just could not get the jet" Hope it goes, fingers are crossed. How quickly people forget..... It's actually the place that made the Jet happen, now all the newer jumpers just expect it and have little appreciation for what it takes to make it all come together. Have you ever jumped a 727 anywhere else???
  7. Well believe this lil sunshine girl, I jumped a jet at Quincy all the way back in 1992, I bet you're too skeered anyhow
  8. I am with Pekin Life Insurance Company they were comparable to BlueCross but a little cheaper at the time I last looked into it and they didn't exclude skydiving.
  9. Alana I have an individual plan that costs $150. a month and includes pharmacy. I would guess you could get it cheaper then that since you are young and cute, I mean healthy If you go with an individual plan make sure you're covered for skydiving as alot of companies won't cover it. I "think" BlueCross will cover skydiving but double check.
  10. what mx757 said The Miller sponsership is really a trick to get more skydiver dollars spent in town on other beer products and hence improving the image of the convention with the local liquor stores
  11. You only live once, pick the one that excites you the most!!!!! See you at the rodeo
  12. Skytruck at quincy???
  13. Opie

    My new truck

Well you got me there but it's been awhile since I've seen one in anything but a dually. I wonder what kinda mileage you see with a the 8.0
  14. Opie

    My new truck

Any respectable Chevy owner should be able to tell thats a 12-13 mpg 6.0 litre without looking for any stickers or markings other than the 2500 emblem without a diesel emblem beside it
  15. Maybe there are no vendors to update???? Makes you wonder since everyone has been asking and nothing has been updated or posted
  16. Damn! I didn't even think. What a dumbass I am. OK so you didn't think of it, but does your daughter know you didn't
  17. And I don't think he'll be posting for a week
  18. If any of my customers pencil packed by forging my name, i would no longer be there rigger. I would tell them to find someone else. That's why I don't have you pack mine Sunny, this way I can sign you're name and you never seem to notice
  19. It's already happened at SDC. I believe with a video camera, middle of the day 4-5 years ago. Luckily with the help of some jumpers the people were tracked down and busted. Woody made a video of it, ask around. Hopefully that's what will happen to whoever took this laptop too.
  20. What do you do if your customer brings his/her rig in claiming that they lost the data card??
  21. Now let’s see if you set your preferences to display more than 25 replies to a page you should have fewer pages to read. Then their is also the fact that if you didn’t post to the thread it wouldn’t have bumped to the top again but at least now we'll be able to see if dz.com will explode with a thread gets viewed 100000 times.... JC The thread lives!!!!!!!!!!!!! btw some time back I googled skydive just to see what came up and it looks like skyrippoff is fading away! Not that they are out of business but they are using other names now instead of skyride........... do you think this thread has helped bring about the end of the skyride name???????
  22. well in my scenario she must of been on a long ass ride because I said the stretch was straight, flat, and had no intersections for 10 mile I might have heartfailure on my next skydive, land on the windsheild of a van with a family of 8 in it that crashes and causes a 18 car pile up killing 4 people all together...... but I don't think I'll quit jumping just the same
  23. Don't get me wrong, I'll give you that by far and away most of the time it is done unsafely in the wrong place, the wrong time and conditions endangering others. My point is if you are in fact in a safe isolated place (we could argue all day about what that is) that I'd rather make the decision for myself, instead of some politicions that passed a law, how fast I choose to go if I'm endangering no one else. In those circumstacnces I'd prefer not to automatically be considered an asshat just for busting the speed limit
