    One I'll never forget came from Beth who was at home. "Why didn't you tell me you were in the hospital, what happened?" What the hell are you talking about I'm not in the hospital? Apparently the Best Western is owned by the Hospitality Corp. and comes thru on caller ID as Dublin Hospital

    Certainly not the best, I bought a Wally World special for 159.00 that has firewire,S video and composite inputs, works great with both mixing board and Mac. It burns DVD+R and so far no coasters or come backs. David

    You can not slow a portion of a clip, so you must split it. Drag the playhead to the portion of the the clip you would like to slow/speedup and press command T to split then move to the end of where you want the slow/speedup and Command T again. Now highlight that section and slide the scale towards the turtle icon, done. Your Mac should do OK although a pross upgrade would make a big diff.

    Hey David, I guess I must officially check in. I will be there flying video, of course with your approval, for the GSL Meet and the GA Record Attempt. I am a team player. Not looking to make any money. Only want cost covered, which Chris and I have talked about. I will bring, with Spences' asking, my dubbing equipment to include mixing board (data video) VCR and TV. Some of this equipment may be usefull for the GSL Meet. I could bring a CPU as well for DVD burning Digital Stills etc. Hope that is ok with you. Randy Cooke What up Randy, Hell No you don't have to check in man, and damn sure don't need my approval. In fact I was going to send you an email.     OK guys anyone wanting to shoot Video check in with me at skydive@mac.com We are looking for experienced camera flyers. Must be TEAM players. Please Don't come to Dublin to make money, You might get 2 jumps or 20 we can not guarantee you much of anything but a great vibe and a good time. We will have a tent dedicated to editing with two Macs/VCR/stand alone DVD+R(rca,S-video,Firewire) available for you as well as 1 maybe 2 linear editing stations. Anyone that can bring thier own editing equipment will be given a clean/dry/shaded space in the tent. Our goal is to get a good product out to as many people we can. If we get really busy or your used to using the DZ editor I am willing to do editing myself to keep things moving and to get as many videos done as we can.     Mac or PC

    I would go Mac all day long. I currently own four, I run winblows on two of them so I can use pretty much any software on the market Mac or PC. I keep a new iMac G5 at the DZ for video editing and entertainment,it's plugged into the DZ TV and stereo system. Macs do love the ram though performance can be greatly improved by adding a gig or two. In 15 years I have never had a Mac let me down. Get Your Roam On David

    Hello All, I have been asked by our fearless leader to produce a DVD of the RoaminDZ.com Second annual St. Patricks Celebration Boogie. I would like to ask everyone for a little help, gathering video footage. What I need is video of your departing Airport or gate/flight# or your packing the car or (you are now entering/leaving road signs) (100 miles to states/cities signs) or 10 or 15 minutes of highway footage/back road footage, just point it out the windshield and let it run. Maybe some "are we there yet" in car video or just Boogie talk as you travel "I can't wait to see_____or jump the_____" I will have a couple computers to dump all video into when you arrive in Dublin. Like last years DVD anyone that contributes will recieve a DVD. Thanks in Advance Blue Skies David King
