    Asking questions is good, you're not an idiot for asking. For the canopies you have listed, I've flown a sabre 1, and Pilot. At the same loading, I found the Pilot to have lighter toggle pressure, and it was a dream to fly. I love my Sabre, except for off heading openings.     I've gone from a 1.1 to a 1.4 on my sabre in the past year. Canopy is more fun to fly, but getting my fat ass in and out of the harness is a pain in the ass, and I sit on the fuel selector in the cessna.
