Personally, I would never ask for a raise. If my boss doesn't see the work and effort that I put in then maybe there is some lack of communication/or he/she is not seeing eye to eye on my performance. Also- since I don't know your job title, sales are up this quarter, but do you know the financial status of your company? Have access to financial statements? If your company is in debt, they would be using the quarterly earnings to pay it off. Also look at the forcasted budget for your department. What about your reviews? This could be excellent support in your argument. I've always had the thought that my work speaks for itself and that is the determination of whether I get a raise or not. I've received several raises/bonuses and won employee of the quarter, recognized by VP's, work took me on my first skydive.. etc... This could go a few ways. Ha. I had a session this past week and the stupid ass dungeon didn't have lube. I pulled out A&D ointment and considered using it for some anal training. Then I came to my senses and left the guy on the bondage table for a minute while I ran to my car to get lube. I could tell he was a bit nervous, I could have totally left him there hahaha! I'm in a bit of a tricky place right now. I have to decide whether or not to stay in Atlanta or go back to Chicago. With that- I can't start working in GA and then just leave if I decide to go back to IL. I've been doing pro dom work here in Atlanta. But I miss having a normal job, and a predicable income. Once I decide where I am living, then I will start finding a vanilla job. Until then its just ass kicking until I figure out what I am doing. Best Girl Scout Ever.

Skittles- its not your photos they want to sell its your email address and which demographic you fit into. They are going to sell it to "third party advertisers" which means the highest bidder. Resulting in *SPAM* woo whoo. Its an additional revenue source for them. When I worked at careerbuilder.com people used to hack into the system to steal peoples information to sell email lists ALL THE TIME. www.nextmark.com is a major website where you can obtain and sell peoples information. Craigslist- spammers and fakes are pretty much compling people's information to sell as leads. Resulting in the grey grey grey world called multi-level marketing and lead generation. DMCA is the last major internet regulator the US has had in a LONG while and doesn't cover penalties for internet crimes. And infridegment intellectual property rights- in court- is a HARD battle to fight. When I worked for careerbuilder we were fighting sharebuilder.com for infridgement of intellectual property rights. The case is still going on and its been 2 years. Hardest part is trying to pin point where exactly the lead came from, who's selling it, re-selling, and with the use of proxy's its almost impossible. Basically- facebook wants you to be aware that they are going to resell your information and pool it into lead generating companies to cover their asses. Best bet- is to change your facebook email to a fake one or one used just for spam. OR you can always find a program to collect information and resell. If you can't beat em join em right? *Update* Its been almost three weeks and I have more time here at the farm. I've meet some dz.commers, new skydivers, and random people on my trip. All fun people to meet! I haven't worked in about 4 months, but starting to get my advertising and Pro Dom work out in ATL so I can feed my skydiving addiction. I've called a few high rise window washing places today to see if they needed work, no luck. I've contemplated opening my own dungeon here in Atlanta...working with a partner and looking at some properties. Who knows, if depending on which way the winds blow, I might end up here in ATL running my own dungeon or in Chicago back at school working in accounting. Best Girl Scout Ever.
