    I'll throw in a nod for Brian. Learned more on a rainy non jumping weekend with him than the previous 3 months in the air! My favorite line-( after I had decent on target swoop) " Cool. Another 800 or so like that and you'll have it"! He really seems to enjoy his job.

    I moved a few months back and tried just that. They wouldnt do it. I think its a matter of policy as opposed to ability. I just went with a cell phone(free LD) and DSL. Same situation. The phone co. still made me get a phone line. But the bare bones line was $13(no LD) instead of cable at $30. Besides, they would still do some sort of a service call and bust the people.

    Im interested in opinions from people who have thorough experience on both the 1 and 2. Ive seen posted that the 2 doesnt perform(swoopwise) as well as the 1. Although a longer recovery arc it sort of gets to a certain speed then stops accelerating. I believe that you can still buy a 1 brand new which would seem to support that. Or the possibility of that.

    IMO. It sounds like maybe you should come out of the dive a little higher. Possibly start higher. If you are "digging" out of the corner with toggles youre killing a lot of your speed. But if you dig out of the corner with risers too much at that same height you might kill alot more than speed! Wingloading about 1.6 Im starting a 270 at around 600 feet and am working on raising it more even. The last 30 jumps have been on rear risers- very little input should be needed I dont look directly down at the ground much. Picture yourself in a car(bare with me here!) If I want to know how fast Im going FORWARD Id open the door and look straight down. If I want to judge how fast Im coming down vertically under canopy I look at the horizon. I just made some major improvements after a good weekend of coaching from Brian Germain. Take advantage of being in CA. and get some input from a qualified (read: not me) pilot

    For entertainment purposes only Of course you can use pearls on the girl. But guys can get some serious fun out of them too. Ladies if you take a strand of pearls and make several loops around the "flagpole" while you umm... and alternately pull the sides so they rotate around, the vibrations tend to send the guy into something reminiscent of a seizure! Hint-do some stop and go or go slow and then speed up towards the ..end (not to fast for to long, might start a fire or something!)....so Ive heard
