I have a Cypres.. er, wait, thats something else I had the same problem with college.. I would do anything besides the homework/papers that were due, until about 4-5 hours before they were due and then I would crank them out. I just got my Wings from Roy yesterday! woo hoo, going to harass my rigger tomorrow to get it put together (he's getting back into town after driving for 9+ hours at around 4:00 AM, So I'll probably start the harrassment process around 4:00 PM. Congrats on your new rig.

I'm still waaaaaay far away from having the experience to consider trying a Birdman suit, but am awaiting the day when I can try one. Was wondering how a Pro-Track does when flying them. Does it work?

Out of curiosity, wouldn't it be possible to put something like a foam rubber shim in the container to space it out. I know that this wouldn't be possible b/c the FAA etc.. Things that make you go Hmmm.

How about this for a friend.. I'm still a new skydiver and ordered my pre-second rig recently, but wasn't planning on getting a Cypres because I am a broke mofo. A skydiving friend took me out to dinner the other night, constantly offering to let me borrow the money for a Cypres (with me refusing, b/c I think lending money to a friend is a great way to end a friendship). In the end she stated that she wouldn't skydive with me unless I had a cypres. Argh, well, only a few more added months of my life that I'm in credit card debt... I'll be really pissed if I don't end up using the thing. :)

Yah, I didn't clarify my post enough, the 2k pulls were not intentionally that low, more of a mind blur on my part, and not something I plan on repeating for awhile. Luckily nobody seems to have noticed those, and they got filed in the "I learned from that without getting embarrassed" section.

Hrm, even with masturbating my first number would be a 0.. Skydiving is like a religion to me, you can't wack off during skydiving weekends.. :)

Depends, on student status I got pretty used to pulling at 4.5 - 5 and being the last one to land, stayed like that for my first few jumps, then had a day were all we could get were HnP's from 6 because of clouds so we had did some 6 way RWs and I started pulling at 3, then 2.5, and have wandered down to 2 a couple of times. I do want to pull high sometime on a sunset load with a beer stuffed in my jumpsuit and a buddy to enjoy the ride.

I hate being a newbie. I don't even know what parapack is.. when I was filling out my Wings order form I assumed that parapack would be better (ya know, I'm para-chuting, so I should probably get para-pack) :) My dealer talked me into Cordura though.. can anyone give me a quick reference as to what parapack is?

OMG, that is cool, definitely worth the 35 bucks, and if you are going to do that I'd think it was worth the $$ for video, etc. BTW, was that your 'FIRST' time launching from an inverted Pitts? :)
