Duh, there's a pocket in the back of the pilot's seat for that stuff... There might be a bunch of other books/papers/maintenance records/etc, but you can help by throwing that stuff out. Somebody just got lazy and left it there.

Which brings about a question... what's a good program to use for backup, or should one just go through everything manually and do it by hand? Yah, used to use Netscrape before the introduction of 6.0, then I held on to copies of older (better) versions until I had to format, then just decided to give Internet Exploder a chance and have stuck with it since... I'm aiming for that.
