  1. Hi, yeah, we did make a couple of pairs with a small wing for R&D, they were never marketed or sold although we did have quite a few inquries about them. We desided to go for the different design totally. Our goal was to make pants that one could use for everything. Pants for every experience level. The original idea was to get increased tracking power from the cliffs, antennas etc. but soon we noticed how much fun they were when tracking-flocking dives became more popular. Good thing is that you can also freefly with them, sit down, track and of course wear them in your favorite skydiving bar They are also made for tandem masters and AFF Instructors since they also appreciate more leg power. Once again, they do not have any wing between the legs so please do not mix these with some prototypes we had in the past. More info and pix soon in our web site. Thanx for the patience, jari
  2. No, it is absolutely NOT so My canopies of choise are: 1) Velocity 75 with PD-106 R 2) Velocity 79 with PD-106 R Both systems packed into Wings Birdman-1 container I have never jumped Atair Alpha in my life but I did jump Atair Impulse 95 a few years back and changed that canopy to other manufacturers cross braced canopies because I liked their products and they were more high performance wings, NOT because of a rich sponsorship agreement. I have jumped (with wingsuits) just about every high performance canopy on the market. Modern wings are all good, they all have their personality and should be treated with respect. They all open, are fun to fly and if the pilot knows how they have great swoops. I must say that I am extremely happy with the overall package of PD canopies. It seems to work with me and my style the best. I have had 2 cut aways in my last 1200 flights and I am so happy I have PD-106 as my back-up. Ain't so javla bad Safe flights, Jari
  3. Hey Chuck and Chris, great news that C/130 will be there, you will just love the scene when we will fly above the monster. Kimi is driving a van. See you up there birds, Jari
  4. Hi Chuck, I will be there, Kim is bringing Kevin to instruct first flight birdies with herself (I will be organizing flock dives the entire boogie). I hope you will be there as well. Question: Is anybody driving from N.Y.C. to Richmond on 27th or 28th? I will need a ride for two (and gear) if anybody has space available. I'll be flying to NYC from Europe on 26th. You can reply to me at jari@bird-man.com Thanx, see you in Richmond Jari PS: Lets see if we can better that 27 way I organized in Sweden, that was FUN!!!
