I was married for 10 years... the actual union lasted about 5, but the thought of being a statistic and being a failure made me hold on for 5 more years. After my marriage I vowed it would never happen again... I even bought a book titled "Marriage and How to Avoid It." In retrospect, I married much too young. I fell prey to societal pressures that my role was to be a wife and mother (mind you I grew up in Utah). I married for all the wrong reasons.... I married before I knew what love and relationships are truly all about. Now, having grown and matured (a lil bit), marriage has taken on a whole new meaning.... It's more than just a legal vow, it's a binding of souls. A committment to share my life/not dedicate my life. I would not walk blindly into another marriage, it means much more to me - it would be a lifelong commitment. Wow, Sean, I hope it all works out for the best... Time off always sounds like a cool thing to do, but the security of knowing you have a job gives peace of mind. I have accepted a new job within my current company, however it requires me to move. Today I'm packing up my desk and having to say goodbye to everyone. I'm definately going to miss this place and all the cool people that I've worked with for the past 3 1/2 years. Most of all, my sweet lil `ol security gaurd who greets me every morning with a smile, a small gift (usaully pudding packs / fruit), and swears to everyone that he's going to marry me one day. I feel like such a "chick" right now Thanks for listening.

I feel ya Viking! It sux big time.... at least you have a time frame in there. Right now we don't even know.... I still have a month before I get to see him again... It gets very frustrating and tiring, but when it's right you have to tough it out - the reward is so much greater!!!
