So I get to work today and was told my manager wanted to see me. First words out of my mouth, "WTF did I do?!" So, I sit down and he tells me I'm getting a 6% pay raise. Not bad for only working here for 6 months! Woohoo! Beer Money!

We rented a jeep for the drive to Hana! Top down, 4x4! Such beautiful scenery and that road is a twisty one. After stopping at Hana (the 7 pools?) and the black sand beach, we continued driving around the entire backside of Maui (took us like 8 hours) but what fun.....!! Buck

Now I have heard EVERYTHING. Stressing about your A and gear??? Your A and gear??? I can see work related, family related, but you better not be "stressing" about fucking gear and an A. Buck Hi Beerlight IMO Different strokes for different strokes. Sometime I'll tell you about how bad I felt when I broke a finger nail, and a rainstorm ruined my fresh hair doo all in the same year. R.I.P. My apologies. I guess that really is something to worry about...... Finger nail, huh? -

You should just have a (maybe you already did)serious discussion with him, one on one, not in front of anyone else. Tell him your side of the story. If he still disagrees, then have a few others talk to him in the same fashion. Still not working, then to DZO. Is the guy not a "good" pilot? Does he operate the aircraft in an unsafe fashion or demonstrate poor piloting techniques? If the answer to those questions are YES, then it's time for DZO intervention. Buck

MarkM's info is incorrect. Here's the correct way: DO NOT valsalva (ie. pinch nose and blow) on ascent! ONLY on descent. (A lot of people get this one wrong) Pressure in the middle ear will automatically equalize during ascent. Any "popping" or "clicking" noise in your ear is normal on ascent, and if your ears aren't clearing well on ascent, just wiggle your jaw back and forth, tilt your head side to side and that'll allow the eustachian tube to open more readily. I'd recommend you not jump again until your problem is cleared up. You will only do more damage if you jump again..... If you would like more information regarding ear equalization/problems, google search for "barotrauma". Should be some very relevant info there for ya...! or just PM me, teaching this type of stuff is what I do for a living.... Buck

Why? It's so much more fun to make you wonder. Seriously, you guys don't know what The Buck is? Geez I was introduced to it shortly after my virginity went away! Okay then.... Think missionary. Now lift her legs and hook 'em over his shoulders. I'm sure that with that information your imagination can figure out why some people think it's so much fun. btw, the name is from a 2 Live Crew song - "Put her in the Buck" I'm lovin that!!! So what, now my name describes a sexual position...woohoo!!! Jus call me.....Bucknaked

And this from today on AOPA.org 'MEMPHIS BELLE' COMMANDER DIES Col. Robert Morgan, pilot of the famous Memphis Belle Boeing B-17 bomber, died last Saturday. He was 85. The aircraft was the first to complete 25 missions in Europe and return to the United States. The aircraft toured the country to sell war bonds. Morgan later flew 25 missions in a Boeing B-29 bomber over Japan. A documentary was made in 1944 about the aircraft, and it was featured in a Hollywood movie.
