consistent It was a great concert. My search was for Point Break. A search for point picked up the noted exchange. And as Paul Harvey says.... now you know the rest of the story.

Point Blank Saw them open for Lynyrd Skynyrd in Denver '75. After an intro build-up in pitch darkness the emcee yells "Let's give a huge Denver welcome to Blank Point!" Which led to complete silence & O'Daniel says in the still dark arena "It's Point Blank you a$$hole" and then hit a big chord right into their opener to start an outstanding set. Skynyrd was great too. oddly: Point Break only showed up once.
