Hey man i live in Keller (NE Fort Worth) I jump at SDD. Its further than a couple of DZ's but has great planes and lots of packing area and a cafe and also a great vibe! Been to Skydive 35 once. At the time the had a caravan but now only a 182. Nice place but not enough up jumpers for me (note they dont dislike up jumpers there are just not that many going there since they changed locations). If you want to join me on a friday at SDD you can ride with me if youd like. I almost always come home friday. Or when you plan on making it out let me know and if im there i will introduce you to everybody there. Might as well try all the DZ's out around here and see what you think. Yea ok No really i beleive you! Yes the video is opinions from both sides. That is why i put it up. I'm not one to blindly beleive things without checking them out. I have read alot of artical's about this subject and have alot of real world expierence with recycling.I very much beleive in recycling rain water and reusing alot of matierials. But i dont beleive it helps the enviroment to recycle plastics, bottles, and most paper products. I dont mean that as a blanket stament. There some instances that recycling those make alot of sence. Such as at manufacturing plants were the already produce those products. Like damaged products that they cant sell but can recycle at that plant and reuse to make another new product. When you go hualing things across the state/ country more times than not you are being couterproductive! Edit to add: Dont even get me started on ethanol! Nothing opens like a Deere! Well i used to run a trash company so I know a little about this subject! I also know several owners of trash companys. The only easy way to earn money in recycling is in metals etc. Heres a couple of places you can start. Let me know what you think. I'm not trying to change peoples mind's. And when those "useful" holes are filled up, then what? We dig more holes? Again, I am merely suggesting that instead of filling up dumps and having to make NEW dumps, why not recycle a few things and save some space? Recycling isn't that hard. And some garbage companies will actually pick the stuff up at the curb. We are always diggin more holes for more natural resources. That will never stop! I understand what you are saying but recycling is not what you think it is! We waist more money on recycling that it is worth. The companys that pick up stuff at houses do that cus most of them have to due to the city conrtacts. Alot of recycling companys are subsidised by the govt. cus they cant make enough money recycling the products to pay just to pick them up! The ones that aren't subsidised are only doing it to get the trash and rolloff business for that city. And if your doing it for the "enviroment". Your being counterproductive. They use more fuel and electricity to pick up and recycle those products than it would use to just make the same product out of new stuff.
