The govt doesnt have to compete with the insurance company's. They can print $ the insurance company's cant. I wonder who will win.     It's a freakin' speeding ticket. Lets take something that might cost $150 and make it cost $500. Not so much. Like I said the avg. ticket cost for a lawyer is $15- $50. Most of the time they will get your bill lowered. I have saved alot of money by using lawyer for traffic tickets. If you've paid even 1/2 attention to my post you would know i dont like paying lawyers or anyone else. Nothing opens like a Deere! You ignorant fool! Checks are for workers!

Awesome; please point me to the proposals you have. I'd still also like to hear specifically from marks2065. Huge multinationals can offer healthcare as a perk and cut deals with insurance companies in volumes that the little guys can never hope to. I'm really curious to hear the small business owner's take on the hard math, if they actually have any. You answer my question then i will answer yours.     First i have way too much exp. on this topic I have gotten alot (30+) of ticket's (not just me but my vehicles, with my workers driving them). Any ticket i get goes to a lawyer! The prices range from $15-$50 per ticket. Then they do all the work and it goes to court. If the cop doesn't show up then it is dismissed. If he does then the worst case is i have to pay for probation. Most of the time (like 95%) I dont have to goto court with the lawyer. As i see it if they want to write some BS ticket to me then they can goto court and talk to the judge and the lawyer i hired about it Most tickets take 6- 24 months to get to court. YMMV.
