Sorry you're having to go thru this It does suck! Apparently the doctor told me in 9th grade that I was born with extra tissue that overlapped as I grew & became more athletic. Once the tissue overlapped it was my bone touching bone & rubbed all the time I had orthroscopic done in 10th grade & was in excellent health. Had a hard time healing however & my knee stayed swollen for like 3 months. It's all good now, but would not want to go thru it again.
