Thanks guys, you all own. Well here goes... after a 360 mile round trip, which i didn't start until 3pm this afternoon (its 1am here now) i sit here looking at my most recent purchase. Javelin container (1996) all black with red writing and jade green panels on the reserve & main flap covers also jade green riser housing panels (with the javelin logo on the left as you wear it). containing 1 x PD190 (9 cell) DoM 1994 nvy,nvy,red,wht,wht,wht,red,nvy,nvy 1 x PD160 reserve. 1 x cyprus expert (13 months of use before the bin) Its BOC, freefly friendly, velcroless toggles, hard cutaway & reserve cable housings, RSL and so clean i was quite stunned. Ok it needs the closing loop replacing (smaller canopy was inside) and the RSL re-fitting and a once over by a rigger, but man, i am soooo pumped. I owe my mom bigtime, as well as a few friends with money, but damn them vibes helped, and kept me awake all the way back home. Thanks again. Amber.. don't think for a minute that your the only person ever to feel scared, its completely natural. Apprehension & fear go hand-in-hand, but you have done the worst part already, and although you don't really think it right now....you actually lose the fear part, and you get to the stage where your more concerned about doing your jumps right & to your own standards, that puts pressure on you, and maybe that is what is holding you back at the moment ? Relax ? .....its easy to say i suppose, but just "give in" to it, and feel the air around you & smile ....your paying for it. You are in the zone girl, and you are going to do it....the only question is when ? It was one of the coolest moments of my life when i passed my AFF, as i thought i had failed, but nothing comes near to it now, and its changed my life for the better, and it will change yours too. Great Post Jose. I think you touched on something there that we have all felt and seen, being a low-time jumper myself, it just inspires me when i meet all of these great people with no hang-ups other than what beer they drink. I am not a father, and having a pot to piss in is a distant dream at the moment, but i think that is the foundation of why all of us come to this site. How about a Q&A seminar for newbies to the sport ? There are questions i'm sure people want to ask, or situations they have been in, and having someone there to know who was right or wrong, or what could have been done better, would be invaluable. -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning
