How about when you click on the forum button, you get a screen with any 'sticky' or 'need-to-know' technical topics ? Having said that, it is getting busy in here now, and some information is getting buried pretty quickly, but the search is very effective, and so far I've had no real trouble looking up anything. As someone on the fringes, I feel I can post here on 'technical' subjects without feeling too much out of my depth, or getting fried for making a mistake or just being dumb from time to time.

Thanks guys. By the way, the new hours I'm working are: Monday - Thursday 1:30pm - midnight. So technically I can drive to my local DZ after work Thursday night and jump all weekend. After nearly 23 years in the same job, I handed in my resignation on Monday just gone. I start my new job on Monday working for a good friend of 20+ years who phoned me at work to ask if I wanted to work for him. Its similar work but better conditions, hours (for me), and atmosphere, even though I'm taking a $2 an hour pay-cut, I love it there. And when the math is applied, I will actually be earning much more. Its a small well established company (17 years) with real hands-on management and ultra cool flexibility & staff. What's more.. my friend is the MD. The last few weeks have been like therapy, with my only moment of anxiousness being for about 20 minutes after I handed my letter of resignation (based on this) to a director on the car park as he got out of his car. I really feel I owe it all to skydiving & its environment & people, its really peeled back my eyelids and made me sort the wheat from the chaff in my life, as well as some inner confidence in my own abilities & decisions. Is there a different bridle length involved too ? I did a search and noticed that WS (skydiving) is 100" & 108" (9ft) for BASE bridles, does that extra 8" make a big difference ? or is one safer that the other ? And is there a recommended bridle length in WS BASE ? (I looked in the wsbase.pdf for it by the way). -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning
