I agree, except I wasn't overly thrilled with Elliot's performance, he was good it just wasn't as 'tear worthy' that Paula thought. But then, I think Paula should cut back on her meds. I really liked Kellie at the beginning......she just isn't consistant unless it's a country music song. Katharine's dress........did she look in a mirror before deciding to wear it? Kind of tacky to have undie lines with a gown like that. -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

I understand when you say "you don't love her". While I wasn't adopted, my mother was not in my life at all, no contact, nothing from the time I was 6 or 7 until many, many years later. Then she decides to 'show up'. My Dad had gotten custody of us 4 girls and we moved out of state. When my Mother showed up all those years later, I had no love there, I honestly didn't 'know' her. I don't believe love is instantaneous. If she loved us, she would have kept in contact. I have no hard feelings, we were better off, but I had no memories of her, so the mother/daughter love was never acquired. I'm glad you got to meet your mother and learn about her and get the necessary medical info. Ha! I am known for a signature dish after all. I make a great to-die-for, Spanikopita! The recipe was handed down to me!!! For those that don't know, it's a spinach-feta-egg mixture in a crust of Phyllo dough! Only fresh spinach! I'm also known for my Greek Holiday Bread! This one is another hand-me-down recipe, which makes 10-11 loaves at a time! Makes for a to-die-for piece of toast! -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

I like it also. You ready for this? If it was a girl, the name was going to be Elliott (sp?) Katherine Rose. That's right, I said Elliott. My sister-in-law insists that Elliott can be either a boys or a girls name. I certainly never heard of that. Needless to say, the family is very glad it was a boy; but don't tell my sister-in-law. I've never heard of a girl being named Elliot! Interesting.....maybe they would have spelled it very differently like....Ellyot....or something. Good thing it was a boy!

I guess you would mean how is MY sis doing? Her ribs are very sore and now she has a cold so the coughing is killing her. She said the dogs were running great, almost too fast for her to handle. She is black and blue everywhere but her butt, she never landed there! Her face is black and blue from falling sideways and hitting a tree. My sister and husband love all their dogs as part of the family. What's the difference between a dog pulled sled or horses pulling a carriage. Wow, you all have been so helpful. It's actually the + that wouldn't play, but I've played other + dvd's in the player without any problems. I'm beginning to think that it wasn't recorded correctly or it wasn't finalized or something. It plays on my computer but had a few 'glitches' playing it. I'm going to check with the person that copied it to dvd originally. -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

So....what's the pros/cons over + or -? I thought more dvd players recognized the - format rather than +. I've always used the - for dvds, but have received a dvd recorded in + and it doesn't work in one of my dvd players. So I thought if I copied it to a -dvd I could play it in more players. -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

I waited and waited for Bo to release his cd, I was first getting to the store to buy it. While the music is okay, I was disappointed that it was so "pop" sounding. They had a special on Bo, a while back and it explained the trouble Bo was having getting 'his' music on the cd. I hope Bo gets back to where he's comfortable when he's allowed to do 'his' music the way he wants it done. Even though he sounds good on his new cd, it's not what he is all about. His video is awful. They don't even have the sound and video in sync!
