This is such good news, that Ethan is doing so well.

Ha! I missed this one. I was in Arizona from last Thursday morning until today. We did lose power though until sometime very early Saturday morning. The area directly behind us are still without power. We're letting the neighbor right behind us run an extension over and plugged in so they have some power. -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

Chris, you know you have my prayers. My grandson was bitten in the eye area, earlier this year by a family members dog, I know how devastating and traumatic it can be. His injuries sound so severe, I'm so sorry. Not that it matters, but what kind of dog was it? You and your family have had way too many troubles lately. When you can, give Ethan a hug from me and his mommy and daddy will be needing one too! I was at the first Arizona Ironman competition to watch my son do his first Ironman. When he came out of the water for the swim, which was first....he was so cold and a little disoriented, it worried me. Then we witnessed him on the bike and all was fine and the same for the run. Shortly before the finish line, you could bring your children to a waiting area and then as their parent rounded the corner, they could join with them and go across the finish line together. I had my 6yr. old granddaugher there and released her to her Daddy for the finish. Which meant I missed seeing the actual finish, but I had such tears of joy seeing her run to Daddy to finish. It is an event every one should see sometime. I applaud anyone who has the stamina to finish one of these Ironmans! He placed at 810, not bad for a first timer and did it in a little over 12 hrs. I can't even imagine what it would take to do this. -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

Michele, chewing gum might not be the best thing for your jaw! I have TMJ, right now it's under control because I use a nightguard at night. If you can try to remember to relax your jaw without any teeth touching during the day, that would help. I find you have to make that a conscience effort though, one not easy to remember! I can't say, I'd be thrilled. I don't intend on buying anything of Lukas and Supernova. I must admit that after hearing a couple of studio release cuts, that Lukas does indeed sound better. I love reading most of these posts. My parents divorced when I was quite young. I really don't have any childhood memories of her. My Father got custody of their 4 daughters and moved us all out of state. I never saw or heard from my Mother until, after she remarried and one of her daughters turned 16 and she came out to visit all of us. After that, one of my sisters kept in contact with her, so we did get to see her once in a while, and kind of became close. It's a hard feeling, to know someone is your Mother, but those motherly feelings aren't there. I didn't 'know' her as my Mother. I always wondered, but never asked, why she never kept in touch. It wasn't my Dad that would have prohibited her from seeing us. I would have loved to have a Mother to be close to. My stepmother was not someone you could get close to at all. Chris, and everyone who has a loving Mother, you are very lucky. Ouch! At least you said 'sorry', thank you. If you haven't heard INXS recently, JD has put himself into the old songs. The back catalog songs are basically the same, but he's made them his. I'm looking forward to seeing what direction their second cd release will bring. Right now, they're still busy on tour in Austrailia, Europe and then back to the US for their 3rd leg of the tour. I saw Marty Casey in concert as the opening act for INXS. Marty Casey was NOT right for INXS. I don't hear anything on Marty Casey anymore. I have heard two studio recordings of Lukas doing two of the SN songs and he sounded much better, at least you could understand what he was saying, and........I didn't have to look at him singing! I never once voted for Lukas. My votes went to Dilana with an occasional one to Toby, Ryan or Magni. It's not as if I ever planned to go to any of their concerts, but I MIGHT have bought their cd if Dilana had won, or maybe even with Toby or Magni, but not with Lukas.
