Did anyone mention that one movie? I forget the name, with Kate Winslet as a reporter interviewing a guy on death row about to be executed who knew he was innocent and timed it so that she would only be able to prove it after he was put to death? Very interesting. Edited to add: Googled it: The Life of David Gale 2002, with Kate Winslet & Kevin Spacey. Regarding the death penalty, I'm not really for it, or against it. It certainly doesn't weigh heavily on my mind. But, for such a usually decisive person, it annoys me I can't seem to stick with one thought on this one Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I understand your point But, rich doesn't make perfect, please remember. I have a lot of other *issues* as a result of my upbringing. I chose to focus on the positive as much as possible. But, this information is so readily available not just from daddy, or if you happened to catch my speeches in college, but on the web, in a library, bookstore. It's not rocket science. It just sucks Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

True, true--but usually as far as taking a car loan or mortgage, you can get around the "risk" factor by providing proof of other things paid on time: ie: letter from your landlord rent is always paid in time/in full, utility bills, etc. The theme to both stories is accounts current, paid on time, in full on a routine basis. You have to look at the sample of the people used for the statistics. Certain groups might be more likely to live together before, but regardless, might also fall into the same group that is most likely to divorce. I've lived with my boy-toy for almost 5 years now. 2006 will be our 6-year anniversary. He is the BEST roomate I could ask for and marriage or not, we LOVE living together. I'm particular about certain things--for me, I'm biased b/c I would have to know if I'm able to live with someone before committing to marriage. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Me, too. Love 'em. It's the food that makes college roomates HATE you. (Supposedly they smell bad when you boil them, but I never smelled anything) Edited to add: BBarnhouse, me too! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Made to Make Your Carrie Water. I would have used another word, but I guess water is wet Edited to add: You can really taste the PLFXpert I like that one better Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Very good lesson to share. To add: Do not, I repeat, DO NOT respond, "It's no big deal, hunny." Edited to add: Obviously you've read Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Confused? That's beyond peek-a-boo and just so wrong. Damn, if you hadn't posted, I could have sent that in to Glamour. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I would have said the true irony is the highest percentage of drug users in the workplace (mostly marijuana) is in the very heavy-machinery/construction-type jobs the original poster referred to---and most do not requiring testing--usually b/c if a worker is injured it is required by worker's comp to be tested w/in 24 hours. If they test positive, neither the employer nor the insurance company has to pay the claim. Not drug-testing keeps the worker's comp premium lower. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Yes, exactly---Obviously that's where I learned a lot of my financial smarts. But, I offered it up for free in speeches to any fellow student who wanted to listen. And, I didn't learn about credit from daddy. I actually taught daddy a thing or two about credit after that first job I mentioned earlier in the thread where I learned a hell-of-a-lot about it. The problem is--it's really not that difficult to clear up bad credit--it just takes a LOT of time and persistance and most people are not willing to do the grunt work. There is someone very special to me, whom I've done the grunt work for. But, I even made him listen to how and why I was doing everything. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Ayy, yi, yi. I don't know where to start. I actually gave speeches in college to fellow students how to graduate w/ less or no debt and good credit. Rich daddy? Yes, admittedly. Built me up a warchest? Hell no. I paid in full on my own for my first car (among all other things) and was the only damn Geo Metro among my BMW-driving friends. I'm 25. Credit at graduation (that was, indeed, pulled for my first job) mid-score 724. Credit now, after buying house, and everything else, 785. Ordinarily I would NOT share that information, but I'm proud of it and feel it's necessary to prove my point here. I was originally siding with you, sort-of, regarding the requirement of a credit-check due to the many variables that can be involved and misunderstood by its viewers. But, had to put the smack-down on you there. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Success! My work here is done It reminds me of the old man and the starfish Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Ordinarily, I would opt out. But due to the age of the A/C when I purchased my home--doing the math, figured it would be worth it (and the seller paid for the first year anyways). I can second John's American Home Shield recommendation. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

The quality I enjoy best in my hunny is he is a pleaser. He is truly unhappy in any situation if I'm the slightest bit annoyed/upset. (I have to be very conscious of that at times.) Though he finds my sarcasm during such situations extremely humorous But, take a man like that and put him in the bedroom---let's just say we make a great team--after all I spent a lot of years fantasizing and pleasing myself before I met him. I very much enjoy telling him what to do RL, I'm sorry about your unfortunate experience, but I know there are plenty of men, here alone, willing-- no begging--to make sure that doesn't happen again Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Yes, yes, much better Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I don't care for either property. I like that Woodbine has an orchid house--as I have 8 orchids, myself But, neither appeal to me in the least, price or not. P.S. I much prefer your other pics* Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I can second that Not that RL needs a second in these matters Edited to add: Unfortunately many women have not experienced an orgasm, or at least not experienced one through intercourse I've been know to have one doing sit-ups Any more stimulation than that is a given Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Funny how I always seem to post the most in the bootie threads. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

We'll agree to disagree there--and yes, we're overthinking, but obviously you and I have some sort of credentials on the subject and naturally want to discuss I happen to believe the sizes in most stores you would find in the mall are WRONG--measurements and all. The nanner comes close (Banana Republic) but certainly the others are way off, imo. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Like I've said before: I only tease the ones I love Edited to add: On the subject, my poor (and amazing) boyfriend noticed an older woman's bag at Starbucks and recognized it as one I'd been pineing for. When he commented on it, the woman was extremely flattered---and thought he must be gay As you know---he's far from it---I can't even get him to moisturize! But, he loves me, and it just showed he actually pays attention to what I say sometimes Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

On the subject of the male low-ryder, some men can DEFINITELY pull the look off (the thug look excluded of course--fo rizzal) Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
