  1. SO true. Especially b/c when I first started going to the tunnel I didn't have my own helmet yet. So I wore theirs which had little holes in it and my hair always came out of the holes and I could never get the helmet off. ARrrrgggh. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  2. I check in for about 10 minutes in the morning on the weekends when I check e-mail, etc.
  3. I enjoy debate. I think it's far more fun when done so playfully here in the Bonfire. I think Rebecca, GTA, Krisanne & I (and others) have had some very excellent debates on the subjects that really matter here in Bonfire. Don't get me wrong--I've made a few posts in SC and thought nothing negative about it. But, I also don't read/contribute to many of the so-called "heated emotional debate" threads b/c well, I don't see the greater point in it. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  4. Exactly. Remember years ago when there was just Talk Back and I started thread after thread titled "The Non-Judgemental/Happy Thread"? I like the warm & fuzzy Bonfire. I love learning new, very pointless information such as Turtle's post about eating at the "Y". I, too, first thought he was talking about the YMCA. After a quick Google search on "eat at the Y" I discovered exactly what he meant; and thus learned something new & unimportant for the day. SUCCESS!
  5. Yup. That's Billy's argument, too. And yet how important is that extra tree on the far left side of the screen to see, I say? The black bars are far more annoying... And Muenkel....flatscreen has nothing to do w/ widescreen. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  6. Oh my gosh, I completely agree! But Billy completely disagrees and thus some movies we watch with the black bars (he insists you see more peripherally.) We have a big screen TV but it's full screen. I'd like a widescreen/flat panel/HD but as long as our TVs are still working properly I refuse to spend the money upgrading. We literally have this discussion every time we watch a DVD and have the option of "full screen" or "widescreen". Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  7. I agree--a quick phone call, perhaps even a quick visit and $20 co-pay is worth it for preventative reasons. It's probably no big deal, but for that slight chance it is, you'll save yourself a lot more time & money later.
  8. Oh my gosh, I really like you! I mean; Costco, hummus, pesto and hot sauce in one post??? AWESOME! Some of my favorites. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  9. When I was there, just a few years ago, there was a gigantic marijuna plant found growing in a hidden corner area of the science building. There was an article in the Alligator about it and the author concluded a bird must have dropped a seed there on its flight. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  10. I went to Florida. And it's a great school, with great academics, athletics and programs and... Heeh. Heeh. Hee. Heeh. He....I guess that's kinda true. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  11. I love my long hair b/c it can be easily pulled back and manipulated into a million different buns, twists, ponys & craziness. On rare occassion do I actually wear it down for that reason. Oh, Lord...when you wear it down on a windy day or worse---someone blowing wind at you--that just sucks, pardon my french. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  12. Um,...who's? I hate it when I don't get it. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  13. It's true. Turtle posted a fantastic rate-my-tits website once and no-one replied. It was just... I've been scared of that place ever since. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  14. Actually chips & Snickers ARE foods.
  15. Damn it, I'm late. Glad to see someone made the sexual reference, though, in my absence. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  16. Microbiology. I loved Biotechnology, though.
  17. Well, you knew more than me; other than just recognizing the word was probably a real one. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  18. Dude, I mean, that was like, the first Google link.
  19. If you shoved a candy sucker up your ass, then took it out, would you be relieved? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  20. I think had I watched it in the evening, I would have done the same thing. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  21. Watched the second episode over my latte & bagel breakfast this morning.
