Flirtatiously, jump # doesn't matter--Anyone can be your personal skygod. Egotistically, it's anyone with any # of jumps, but usually a minimum of a few hundred, that acts as if they truly are the god of the sky. Thankfully I haven't met many, if any, of the latter. I've met a TON of the former and fell in love with one. His approximate # is just more than 4,000. I like to think of myself as a goddess wherever I be, so designating a specific type for any particular location is time-wasting really. (J/K!) Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Still looks nasty, but brownie points for it being healthy. I can't stand warm drinks. I like my lattes, apple cider and sake with ice in it. I put all my red wines in the refrigerator (though I will drink them at room temperature when out to dinner/drinks). I don't care much for hot food, either. All hot foods are SO much better leftover after a night in the fridge. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Yuck. I like ya, gup, but that looks nasty. You don't put ice in your tea? Is that a southern thing? It looks like the old cup half-full of water my stepmom would sometimes ash in when she'd smoke a cig on the back porch growing up--it would turn yellow and get nasty floaties in it. Thanks for the memory. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I didn't end up valuing my college education as much as I should have until I entered the real world and realized how important my degrees were and how much I used what I learned in real life... I knew I was lucky to have the opportunity for college--I just didn't think it was the end all/be all to "making it" or "making something of yourself". So...yea, I pretty much hurried through my degrees as quickly and efficiently as possible just go reap that "financial windfall" at graduation. I didn't view college as "its own reward". Juuuuust teasing. I always said in college I couldn't wait to get out and not have to do the class/homework/study thing. Everyone always said I'd be begging to go back once I entered the "real world". I haven't looked back yet. I LOVE the real world.

You guys DO know you're supposed to send out like a bazillion graduation announcements to everyone and their mom, including the mailman himself, right? I tease. I tease. I couldn't do that. But, trust me, people do--I know b/c I've received countless and even one or two on occasion where I had NO idea who the person was. I think I sent a total of 10 announcements out. And I received a check from all 10 which amounted to that total. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

True with the link I provided, but I did Google it first and there are many more articles with the same facts presented from a variety of sources. I chose that particular link b/c I get the magazine and am a Guardian Angel member. Now, regarding your doggie-- I can empathize. When we had to put my 14-year old Schnauzer down I was devastated. I was 16 years old. I understood, but I took it very hard. I had just recently lost my 11-year old kitty a few months earlier to a car. It's such a tough decision and I'm happy, at that time, I wasn't the one who had to make it. My father & stepmom are royal dog lovers, too, so I know & trust they made the right decision. We never argue. We play argue; but we're always laughing. I think we argued for real enough in our 2nd year that we got it out of our systems. And really, that was just the same argument rehashed a million different ways--SO much fun. I just don't like the door thing, in general. I have a lot of weird quirks like that. Thank goodness Billy finds them charming and/or thinks I'm hilarious. Oh, and Bobbi---CALL, ya beotch! Billy and I don't really need a lot of time away from one another. I don't like to be bothered for 1/2 hour or so/day--I'll just shut the door to my office or something. Billy could careless about that sort of "time alone". We do a lot together and we genuinely have a better time when we're together. We do thing separately, too, of course but probably not nearly as often as other couples. My father & stepmom are that way and so are my grandparents who are still as cute as a button together, so much in love, and recently celebrated 60 years together.

The difference between BodyWorlds and Bodies is those displayed in Bodies did NOT give consent--they are unclaimed bodies. The law is clear any unclaimed body may be donated to medical research. Bodies, however, is NOT medical research. Having said that, as previously mentioned, I'd still go see it.

Ummmm. I don't know. Mostly b/c I don't know if I believe in reincarnation. In general, I don't believe one person is meant only for one other person. I do believe in better fits.... I can get along with many types of people. I believe in becoming a whole person first, and two who people becoming a super-one. All I know is if soul-mates DO exist, then I've found mine.

I agree. But, as I stated before, unfortunately cruelty to animals is a far less punishable crime than "stealing property". I quote that because, while I don't dispute pets being "property" so-to-speak, I certainly don't believe they are equivalent to a stolen/bashed-in mailbox. I would do everything I can, too. Like you, I'm in Florida. I can tell you I've been present at, written, researched & investigated for, a couple local court cases on the subject. This type of situation really ,just.....Ugh! Don't be ashamed. I have the same exact policy about that particular region. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

OK, you guys are hilarious, and though I'm so far over it, I was expecting a financial windfall at gradutation... What I received, in total, amounted to about...$2k. Don't get me wrong, that was cool. But, a windfall? Not so much. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I agree... I edited. The published article omitted much of the info in the online version. I agree. Unfortunately that will be another case, I suppose--one with far less severe penalties than stealing. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -

I'm not sure what to make of that w/out further information. (I'm also going back to re-read the article I linked to, b/c apparently it is a longer version of a shorter article I read in the actual magazine.) I always give people the benefit of the doubt b/c you just never know... Edit: OK..this article is MUCH longer than the one I read published in the magazine. The published version had nothing to say about the owners... Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -

If the owner's don't care to press charges then... Why is there a need for all the drama? I'm not even going to oppose or support the anit-chain thing Grimes has going on. I put Cruz on a 20 ft rotable soft-chain sometimes for about 20 minutes (no more than once/day) mostly so he'll poo. He likes to walk in circles for five minutes sometimes before he'll poo so it's just easier to put him out for 20 minutes on his own. Or if we're out washing the car or bike or whatever, we'll put him out there with us; mostly b/c he's still a puppy. Lately he's been very good and staying w/in range and not running into the street or running off (he was previously abused before we adopted him from Animal Care & Control), so we've been working at "trusting" him. Even when he runs off, though, he comes back w/in 10 minutes, tail wagging and wanting to see us--Anywho...regardless of the "chain theory" I think the arrest is nuts! Depends on who it is for/from. Mostly I got $100 from friends & non-immediate relatives. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Standing in the doorway of the bathroom while I brush my teeth--or do anything else in there for that matter. I feel trapped. Seriously. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Yes, I actually did that. No, I didn't think the garbage disposal was a good place to pour wax. It was one of those juice-in-the-pantry moments. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
