Mine are green, and I love them. But, my vote goes to Rebecca.

Talk? Tying your shoes would get him excited. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Hunny, you forget I've seen your body in nothing but a thong. Your hands are pretty, and go well with the rest.
-
Of course, your hand is gorgeous, my dear...but... I think I take care of myself...but I've only had one manicure in my entire life; always have my nails trimmed short, and my hands are often dry b/c I wash them all the time--mostly b/c I prefer gardening, cleaning, swimming in the ocean, and doing whatever else w/out gloves. I can't stand gloves! Actually, I can't stand socks, either, but I wear them inside (never outside!) to get proper slide-action when I'm dancing crazily all around the house (we have tile). I get compliments on my feet, but I've also only had one pedicure in my life. I keep my toe nails trimmed and never polished. I can't stand polish! It feels heavy. And I think natural nails are far more beautiful than pink shit. I don't know if you can tell that much by hands and/or feet alone; much like anything else. The Today show, this morning, spent their entire air-time dedicated to the events that occurred at VT. I thought both sides/opinions were well-covered but you might be pleased to know--if anything--I think it favored your sentiment (which was my initial and still is my sentiment as well--but this is only based on what information I've seen/heard/read thus far). Regardless of the details & debates yet to come, right now my main concern is for the students involved. Watching several of them speak to the Today show cast was heartbreaking. It was obvious they were all still in a state of shock and were eerily calm answering questions. My heart goes out to them. And I'm happy to hear our fellow VT skydivers are OK. There's a lot to consider. It's an emotional time. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I haven't read other responses, but w/out further information I can say, without a doubt... I'd immediately turn it off. I have a difficult time being told what to do without ample information to decide for myself whether or not I wanted to do said request and/or whether or not I trusted the source from which said request was originating. I love the song "Hey Jealousy" by the Gin Blossoms and Billy has been, much to his dismay, singing it for days. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Agreed--you have the inside scoop. And, again, agreed I would have wanted to at least been notified to then make my own decision whether or not to go to class that day...regardless of whether or not they still held it. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I haven't heard of/read about that! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Oh geez...I don't want to be involved in this convo..damn my mouth. Karen, I agree that I, too, would want to know what's going on... Having said that...when I first read your response about why all classes weren't immediately canceled after the early morning dorm shooting, I had different thoughts... And then just to make sure I wasn't a total cold-hearted bitch, I asked a couple friends & neighbors disgussing the topic whom agreed--not that I needed them to agree, but I needed to know I'm not the total bitch I thought I was when I first read your response... Anywho (get to the point already, Care!) my first thought was, "Why cancel class b/c a person was shot in a dorm?" Shootings, accidents, deaths happen every second. Life still must go on. From what I just saw on CNN...they're not even sure yet if the two incidents (the early morning shooting and the later-day massacre) are related. Of course I feel differently about a massacre. My sincerest condolences to the students of Virginia Tech and their friends & families. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

You know, I was thinking...in response to how your sons react to dogs... Have you considered adopting an older dog? That's what I wanted (b/c puppies are always wanted, and I wanted a mellow, older doggie in need of a good home to spend his/her last years) but when we saw Cruz (that wasn't his name then, but he was only 8 mo old and no-one really called him anything, so we changed it to represent a new life for the now, spoiled mut!

apparently is not just for cats. On one hand it seems cruel, as they can never quite catch it... On the other, my 50-lb "doozer" (his name is Cruzer) is sliding around the tile, having the time of his life chasing it. Edit: Don't have a picture of him chasing the light, but here's another favorite pic. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I chill all my reds. Geez, I live in Florida! "Room temperature" is 100 degrees! I don't think that makes me a "rebel", though. Just a "southerner". Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

In this week's People magazine there is an article about an autistic boy and how beneficial his visits to the zoo were. Though I do not have any relatives with autism, most people around here know how much I love animals, so I know quite a bit about how they benefit children; particularly those with autism. And I had a neighbor who was a single-mom with sole custody of her autistic son (who would often run in our house if we didn't lock the front door) for two years. I woke up one morning to him jumping on our bed. He never said anything, except when he'd point at our cat and say "cat".

Now THAT'S true love! I won't tell you about the time I stupidly drank pomegranate juice after a special and LONG night of partying. I later rewarded him. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Soy milk has a very long shelf life. I definitely recommend it instead of cow milk. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -

Overboard was good but...Bird on a Wire...I'm embarrased to say how many times I've seen that movie. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -

Yey! I like you, too! RevJim: For me, nothing wrong with fighting it naturally--and to each their own fighting it un-naturally but...I can't help it. It just looks...obvious & weird to me (the un-natural "fight"). Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -
This seems to be the majority opinion. I am in the minority. I love skydiving but...there is so much mystery to the deep blue. And, though I know I should get a "rush" from skydiving, I really don't. Skydiving, for me, is actually a relaxing activity. I don't get a "rush" very often. I like being scared shitless--b/c it's so rare that I am. Scuba doesn't give me a "rush" so-to-speak either, but it gives me much more peace than skydiving does. It's REALLY hard for me to "make my brain stop" thinking (not literally, but...). Both scuba and skydiving are great for that but, scuba is way better. Did you know, we only know, (I haven't researched, just recalling) a mere 30% of the ocean's species??? Not that I'm diving down to a depth of undiscovered territory, but...the ocean is like outer-space to me. It's alien. It's wonderful. And it truly is a different world. I love it!

Oy vey. If I'm understanding your words correctly... It sounds like, regardless, you still judge based on looks. Since I don't feel like getting serious....Yey Goldie! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. -

P.S. Remmi was referring to Fairchild's extreme amount of plastic surgery (and not such a bad job, I must add), which is why I said what I said. I think aging is beautiful. Granted, I apply moisturizer, SPF, and take my multi-vitamin all in the hopes of aging gracefully, but...I welcome laugh lines & gray hair. I think they're beautiful. I can not STAND the *plastic look. Fairchild screams it. *and by "plastic" I mean fake lips, fake boobs, way too much makeup and...fake anything, really. I LOVE when they claim to have a nose job to "fix a bump". Learn to love yourself, damnit. Surgery won't fix the inside. [/end soapbox] Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
