  1. I would even say I almost always believe in such before profit. This is not what is being discussed, however. Nor is why I believe the footage should have been shown related to profit for NBC. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  2. When it happened, naturally everyone wondered why--what were the shooter's motives? We now have an idea from his video. Of course, they could have just repeated his words & not shown the video. But, then there is a lot to be lost in mannerism & expression. Not to mention whether they say it or show it, aren't those who might use such information negatively going to be affected either way? Undoubtedly this incident and others will influence future laws & decisions. We as the people have a voice in such things. The more information we have, the better we can form our own opinion and cast our vote for change. In general, I'd rather not have a soft, fuzzy blanket thrown over my head to protect me from having to see such things. Of course, underneath I'm warm & cozy, but also far more vulnerable to potential enemies. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  3. In general, if it doesn't pose a threat to national security I want it shown, published & talked about. Of course, unfortunately there are some depressed, impressionable young people who will see the photos, think Seung-Hui looks "cool" and will potentially want to emulate him. But photos, video or not, such troubled souls would likely do so anyways. They merely need the suggestion. One must understand, like anything else, for all people who will do good with this information, there are some that will do equal and opposite bad with it. Often one must accept the possibility of the bad in hopes of doing greater good. And again, in my opinion, the potential emulators would still be motivated regardless of if the photos & video were never shown. I don't have any issues with those who do not want to see it. They don't have to watch it. I have an issue with those who presume to think they should decide for me whether I should see it or not. NBC aired it b/c they choose not to make a decision for me, but rather allow me the freedom to make the decision to view or not to view myself. By showing it, the murderer doesn't "win" imo. He shot himself; He's dead. There's no glory in that. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  4. Are you sure those are your beans that are so cool, or are you merely passing off Maxwell's as your own. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  5. Cool beans! Except Lindercles' beans which are NOT cool and often cause you to regret them the morning after--at least, that's what they tell me. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  6. You know, I have to disagree to some extent. Of course, not in extreme circumstances but... I don't trust anyone fully. I think one's own expectations are often more at fault than the so-called trust-breaker. If I really want something done/bought/to happen I take care of it myself. I'm rarely disappointed in people and I'm extremely forgiving in most cases. I'm certainly no pushover--not even close. I think it's about understanding people, their weaknesses and their strengths. 7. I try like hell to be humble, but am definitely not naturally so. But genuine, I be. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  8. Yowza! I'm the only one thus far to pick "sense of humor"? Oh well. Billy and I can't even fight b/c we start laughing at each other & making fun of one another. It's the one thing in common I have with the closest people in my life. We can sit around and laugh for hours. Of course many of the others are important to different extents. But, I'd miss out on a barrell-o-laughs if I weren't friends with my "bridezilla" friend whom has NO sense of adventure.
  9. I like this performance. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  10. Even I have to say...that's fucking hilarious. Although, I definitely won't be clicking on the kill photos again. Still, the name of the site, info about Jeff, the FAQs and disclaimers are genius. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

  14. That's it! Chuck, I say this with love... Please, for bandwith's sake...just quote the last sentence and give us credit for still figuring out how you came to think up and reply that which you said. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  15. Ooo, I love hoodies. I think it's just the word "hoodie" that excites me. Nonetheless, I prefer mine with zippers.
  16. At least you didn't accidentally send a client a quote which included your original notes that "client insists on getting set-up fee waived, but can definitely still get set-up fee via..." Yes, I did that. And he either didn't catch it, or didn't say anything--b/c really, I think he knew via my pitch how freaking awesome we are and what a great deal he was gettting. 17. I think psychos are interesting. "so I packed my things and left..." doesn't make for a very good story. I agree it was dumb to carve her name into the seat, though. I once wrote my name in red crayon on the carpet under a schooldesk. I learned in first grade that'll always give you away. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    Eyes!!!

I admit, if I can look hot doing it, I have way more fun. I'm a decent golfer, but I MUST be wearing super-cute golf attire (think 80s plaid shorts) or else, it looks like I'm out just to enjoy the game. I recently tried on a friend's pair of eye-glasses...and I must say, a louked goooud. So I just might make an appointment sooner than later. (I'm teasing)... More seriously, does anyone know if there's a waiting period for the laser-surgery, though? Quite frankly I was thinking I'd just go have them tested, and then just skip the glasses/contacts years and go straight to the surgery. I obviously haven't seriously looked into this yet--though recently I've started getting headaches once in a while and that's unusual for me. I think it's the eyes. Eyes!!!

I have a freckle in one eye, too! And, I have no idea what my vision is, I just know I need glasses. You know, if you know, it's got to be pretty bad. I never make a new year's resolution but this year I did--I'll definitely visit an eye doctor before the end of 2007. I'm worried eye-glasses & blonde hair would confuse some people. 20. I love it when you say "musculature". Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
