I personally wouldn't do it, but I have friends who wear their pit bracelets from concerts weeks after the fact or even hospital bracelets. If it makes you remember something that made you smile or meant something to you, then go for it. I don't think it's weird, but I have a strange desire to cut them off of people who wear them (kind of like the trail dust tie thing). I used to take Ritalin when I was younger, and this girl was always begging me for some. I was getting really tired of it, so I took some laxative pills and scrapped off the name.
