No. I'll also cross good looks and fashion sense off the list of suspects...and penmanship. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

If I may... I will once again suggest that, should you find yourself in a position where you were forced to kill someone, talk with an attorney before you talk to the police. Whatever the circumstance; whether you have evidence or not; no matter what...you just killed someone. You need a breather. You need sound advice. You need to make sure YOU know what happened before you try to explain to someone else what happened. After my first AFF jump, my instructor told me to go get a Coke, take a little time, go over the dive in my head, then we would talk. I realized that immediately on hitting the ground, i couldn't remember much about the dive. A while later, it came back to me. When discussing it with the instructor, it was clearer still. Use the same technique right after any intense experience when you can. As the philosopher White once said, "At that point, I had the right to remain silent; but I lacked the ability." I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

This is an awesome argument for the legalization of weed

Thanks for sharing that link. I read the entire thing. I don't recall seeing it before. I tried to find where they differentiated current exclusive use of a pipe between those who never smoked cigarettes and those who formerly smoked cigarettes. The study I read before did that and found that the increased cancer risk lay with former cigarette smokers. It also found that those were the ones who inhaled the pipe smoke. This study specifically asked how deeply subjects inhaled, but i couldn't find where they reported those results. I'm a bit put off by the ending where they clearly stated a bias and an intent to prove smokeing a pipe was bad. It makes me question their objectivity. So, I am not throwing out their research. I'm just saying I would be much more convinced if they 1) didn't start out with an agenda; 2) showed the results when only examining pipe smokers who did not inhale. They clearly had the data, but chose not to discuss it. The study I read before did note an increased risk of mouth cancer due to having a stem in the mouth for prolonged periods. Not necessarily related to the tobacco itself. Considering I smoke a pipe every few months or so, I'm not going to get too wound up about it. You are wrong http://www.cmcr.ucsd.edu/ Then there is the famous Donald Tashkin study where he set out to prove, once and for all, that smoking marijuana led to cancer. What he found amazed him. http://www.webmd.com/lung-cancer/news/20060523/pot-smoking-not-linked-to-lung-cancer I agree that more studies need to be conducted (to find out what else this amazing plant can do for us all.) Before taking up pipe smoking, I did some research. Turns out the only study that differentiated between pipe, cigar, and cigarette smokers found that pipe smokers had lower than average rates of cancer. The proposed reason was that it is a stress reducing hobby and pipe smokers do not ordinarily inhale the smoke. So, it does not surprise me if another relaxing hobby (dope) might reduce chances of cancer. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. I almost agree. Like so many rules, there are exceptions. If you tell me in earnest that you will harm me or someone in my family at a later time, I would rather take you at your word and kill you now than give you a chance to find a weak point in our defenses at a time of your choice. Moshe and Saul said it was prohibited. Rabi Yeshua didn't comment on the matter. (Other than to say you shouldn't condemn someone unless you are without sin...but many ignore that little gem) Moshe said lots of other things were prohibited that nobody pays any attention to anymore. Eating ham and cheese together is quite clearly a choice. I missed where legislation is being passed on that matter. Things like that are dismissed as silly little customs of a superstitious religious group. I mean no offense by that. I am just pointing out the clear habit of making some 'sins' serious abominations that cause an otherwise kind and loving god to turn into an abusive 'father dearest' and other 'sins' are silly little trifles that no longer matter because we don't want them to. I've read the Holy Bible several times from cover to cover. I never found where it explained the ranking system for sins that allowed this way of ignoring some and hilighting others. You lost me. What girly girl movie did you learn that from? I think that was a bully reference. I think it was his feminine side coming out en force My feminine side is a lesbian...and could kick your OMG squeeling shell! BHPG is a term from when I was in college. Not sure where it came from. It just described women you might flirt with in a bar, but would never want to have a real conversation with. My roommates used it. It always reminded me of the girl from 'Legally Blond'. It's now boulder-injected, but yes it was fuel-injected. Seriously? Carbs? I like carbs. It's hard to keep an FI from having a twitchy throttle. Everyone lies, so you are the one who will have to go away to a place where there are no other human beings, the Yukon might work, of course, then you have to worry about whether the animals really want to be your friends or just want your food, or want to make you their food. Then again maybe I'm lying about this like the lawyer who says lawyers always lie. Jan I see your point . . . its the lies that affect your finances and general well being that I speak of. If you saked me if thos e jeans made your ass look fat, I'd lie to you. I'd have to. But that would be different.

I stick with military calibers. My theory is, even if everything goes to shit, I can always steal ammo from the government. To your request, go to a store and handle each one. They are all excellent weapons. If they meet your requirements, pick up each one repeatedly and bring it to bear. If one of them consistently fits your hand such that the sights quickly and easily line up on the target without you adjusting your grip or trying to find the front sight, it's probably your keeper. My instructor in the police academy was an incredible shot with a handgun. He had a philosophy that has always stuck with me. He took his hat off and placed it over his chest COM. He said he only had to hit a target that size. More accurate was nice, but not necessary. All he really needed after that level of accuracy was speed. Whichever pistol puts you on target fastest is the one you want in a bad situation. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. Sure. Property ownership has long been viewed as an inherent right of men. If you check out the 9th amendment to the US Constitution, it says that just because a right is not enumerated therein does not mean people don't have it. There are more. The 10th says specifically that only the authority given the feds by the Constitution is theirs. All else belongs to the States or the People. Of course, nobody seems to pay attention to that... I have long been against legislating what people are allowed to do in their bedrooms. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

OH! Look at that! Nigeria has now passed anti-gay legislation. With that bastion of freedom against it, it must be bad, right? And the rest of their society is so Utopian that the legislators had nothing better to tinker with than what people do in their bedrooms. Wow. When I was a copy, I practiced my draw ten times before every shift. I got pretty fast. One night, I was searching a large building where an alarm had gone off when I spotted a guy in the shadows. He broke leather just as fast as I did. We nearly took it to the next level. Damn mirrored wall. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. Ummm.... is this because I talk too much? Quite the contrary! You're keeping a lot of things hidden from the "who you'd like to bang" thread, but I figure there's loads more where that's coming from! OH! Yeah, I take my duty to the Bang Thread seriously. You couldn't beat the secrets out of me on that one! Unless, people give permission to tell. That's different. I'm a vault when it comes to not telling things when told. I think it was my years of knowing about search warrants, signing warrants for the arrests of people for some BAD things before they knew it was coming, and other big stuff going down that taught me the importance of discretion, trustworthiness and integrity.

Agreed. Put it on or take it off. If you are indecisive, this might not be the sport for you. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
