    We only play the lottery on occasion hoping to fund a vacation to NZ. I'd opt for the annuity payments, pay off the house and buy R a new car. Doubt either of us would quit our jobs.     The problem with zip ties I believe is that they become brittle and crack/break. I've used safety wire to wire mine to the mount and the new one I used S/S wire. It's a little tricky to get it through the holes on the altimeter but I don't think I'm ever going to lose it. It's called the Hillbilly Hop N Pop dude.     What commercials? I spent time inbetween plays expaining stunts, a,b gaps, coverages, etc to my girlfriend using a little whiteboard.     You should also replace your TPS that is on the throttle body. Don't know if it will solve it but I think you are supposed to do the TPS & IACV at the same time. It was alot easier when we had a carb, plugs, points and condenser

    Spectra is not dimensionally stable so there will be shrinkage and the control line adjusteds. I have always used the small knot that fits into the grommet hole in the toggle and 3 different canopies and I've not had it hang up on the ring yet. I would like to hear from some of the riggers (MEL, Gruwell, etc) what they do for a new spectra, microline set. Do you ask the customer what they prefer? Leave it with no loop or only a mark? Knot it and trap it? I'm just a little perterbed that I was not consulted and now I have waxy new lines that I'm going to have to pick machine bartacks out of when it was not necessary in the first place.     About a week ago I received my canopy back from reline from a well respected loft. Last night I went to rig it and noticed that the line from the cat-eye to the toggle was looped and bartacked rather than a free end with a mark or finger trapped and overhand knotted. Is this common? The reline is spectra and so are the steering lines. If I need to adjust my line length, I don't see how I can do it without tearing out the bar tack.     I didn't realize that Truman Sparks had moved the school to Midland. My advice to you is, "Turn your radio WAY UP Mr. Hicks". And put me on the board for $5 too just because I don't ride anything as cool as a 'Busa or fly a Velo yet but I do listen to canopy pilots with a shit-ton of experience. Edited - I have a perfectly good Sabre 170 that I bought for my 1st main. I was holding it for someone at our DZ but I'd make you a deal if you want it and don't jump that HW. You would load it at about .9 and you can lean everything you need to advance on a Sabre w/o the unforgiving risks of an eliptical. PM me if interested. (Now I feel better about tossing in my $5.)
