The best part is when the russian pilot/mecanic says that there is something wrong with it and in the next sentence says.. - but no problem... I can fly it!

we load it with 12-13 jumpers but only 10 of them get to exit at our highest altitude 9000ft, the other two exit earlier. But sometimes we get a little bit more altitude if we have to hold for some other plane. I like the AN-2 'cause if anything malfunctions with it you know it can be repaired with a sledgehammer and then you can fly as usual again

The sun is shining and tomorrow my buddies will be jumping out of perfectly good airplanes (or at least an An2). While they will be doing that I'll be lying in my bed with high fever and a bad ass cold.... shoot me!

Even though I don't have any piercings of my own I think they are beautiful. But please don't do the molepiercing.. it looks like a wart! But a ring or "spike" in the center of the lower lip looks awesome on girls.

I made this years first three jumps todays.. It felt awesome to be back in the air again. It was kind of cold at 3000 metres but I didn't even notice it until I landed in the snow. It was a beatiful sunny day and when I get the pics I'll show ya.

The DMA-options are all as they shoud be, and the cables seem to be right to. I just hope that I wont have to send the drive back to WD 'cause I had to do that 2 times with the old one until I got one that worked. They will probably think I smash harddrives for the fun of it just to make them give me new ones.

I recently bought a new harddrive. It is a Western digital 80gb drive with 2mb cache. My other drive is also a WD but it has 8mb cache. The problem is that when I try to access something on the new drive (which is only used for storage) the whole system slows down and almost halts. I did a benchmarktest with sisoft sandra and found out that the new drive is only half as fast as the old one. Should it be like that, does the 6mb of extra cache make the old one twice as fast? and why does the system slow down? I'll be very grateful for all the help I can get. attached here is the benchmarktest of the slow one.
