... best done in private. In person if possible - that depends on the relationship you have with the person and the situation. Remember, the delivery is as important as the message. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

Amen. Many times I've pointed out to friends that I thought what they were doing/did was shitty, wrong, dangerous, fucked up, whatever. I don't judge them based on that action, I form my opinion on them based on their reaction to me and/or change in ways. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

1) Stop airing dirty laundry on dramazone.com - it's not worth it. 2) Self-righteous people just STFU. Like you've never done anything wrong to anyone. If you don't want to forgive for something done directly to you, fine, that's your choice. If you want to think less of someone for something they did to someone else, that's fine too. But there's no need to spread the hate. People should be able to be forgiven and live down their mistakes without it being everyone's business. If it makes you feel better to have others wallow in your pain, that's sad. 3) WW - I still love you man. Personally, I only care what the people who actually know me think; the ones that know the good and the bad I've done and how I feel about those things. If someone is willing to judge me on what someone else has said, then I have no time for them anyway. I know (unrelated to this) you apologize when you think you've done something out of line, even if it has long since blown-over and been mostly forgotten. It does take a good man to do that. Take care of yourself. It's a fairly normal reaction for people to hurt others in retaliation. If they can never truly forgive or don't realize they're doing it (both of which can take some time) then they never should have been friends in the first place. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

He had changed, please don't judge him now for his attitude 2 years ago. He was listening to people, he just didn't appreciate the way he was approached most of the time (and keep in mind, here on dz.com he'd intentionally go over the top to antagonize people). He stayed with the sabre2 for the last two years, and at the begining of this year went to the XF2. I don't believe what he did was unreasonable. Aggressive, but not ridiculous. He also had a lot of coaching and encouragement from qualified people. He made a mistake, and paid dearly for it. In all my conversations with him, he had no misconceptions about what he was doing - he fully realized the risks he was taking to do something he really wanted to do. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality -
google myspace codes, there are loads of sites to walk you through. Dear god no. It's Geo-shitties, but easier. If I see one more 'profile' with 400 pictures, 30 movies (and 10 songs) that all start playing, faded text, bright red image in the background with clear text boxes and pink text, a profile picture with their friend cropped out, and 400 comments saying "Thanx for the add!!" .... I may very well snap and start killing people. Don't forget the slew of flash exploits that have hijacked profiles and spread. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

I have a treo 650, and have played around with some of the crackberries. It's a great PDA, but usually it sucks as a phone. It's like holding a brick to your head to talk. Get a decent headset (wired or blue tooth) and you'll be happier. I think my next phone might be that 8125 that cingular has... it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

email server? you mean web server? You want to keep your favorites/bookmarks someplace and use them from anywhere? Use the A9 Toolbar or I think there's an extension for Firefox to do the same thing. I like A9 myself. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

I hear Iceland's nice to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there. I could do contract/consulting work for awhile probably... I'll look into that. I've actually had my eye towards NC for a couple of years now - it looks like it doesn't completely suck. Looks like most jobs that might fit me are in Charlotte or Raleigh/Durham. Eh, I bought the place knowing I wouldn't be there too long. I figured I'd be selling it after a year or two or turning it into a rental. It was planned that way at least it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

A year ago I set out to finish my CIS - AAS degree that I started a number of years ago and never finished. Didn't really need to do it, it was just bothering me that I never completed it. I just wrapped that up, and passed the CCNA exam while I was at it. So now I have a ton of free time (and a good sized home lab - I'd be willing to part with a few routers for cheap if anyone is interested) and I'm not sure what to do next. Any ideas? I could start post-whoring on DZ.com full time... but that's lost some of its entertainment value, and we sure don't need another PW here. The pay sucks too. I figure I could burn some vacation time over the next few months and do some travelling, then start looking for a new job. Which brings me to my next problem - I'm willing to end up just about anywhere so it's a little hard to narrow down the job search I just know I want to get out of this job pretty bad (the pay is decent, and sometimes the job is actually good, but the company is just all kinds of fucked up) Ohio isn't a horrible place to live, but I've only ever lived here and Florida and neither one is a spectacular place to live. The stupid quiz I took says I would like the VA, NC, SC area... oh, and Moab Not sure how those are related... but whatever. So anyone want to brag on where they live? Anyone looking for a network engineer and/or technical trainer? Any other vacation/work/living suggestions (besides 'go fuck yourself')? On a completely unrelated note - I just got an email from Flot Top Grill - if anyone is around Madison, WI and wants a free lunch or dinner there on Thursday, June 29 or Saturday, July 1 - I have a number for you. PS - Remster: that warning I told you about? This is it. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

I've been too busy to grace you fuck-tards with my presence. I was actually bored tonight, so I decided to say 'hi' in my 'stir-the-shit' kind of way. I'll go back to hiding now. I have one more exam to pass... then look the fuck out (you've been warned) it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

For claiming to be tolerant, fuck-the-system kind of people, there sure are some hard-core narrow-minded bitches around here. The comment that was made on stage was that she was embarassed that Bush was from her home state of Texas. Granted, the stage isn't the best place to voice opinions, but they're still entitled to their opinion. Lots of celebrities were speaking out for or against the war... big deal. At least they weren't spouting off some non-sense about the dangers of psychiatry and antidepressants. (BTW, I think Cruise is a moron, but if he shows up in a decent movie, I'll still go see it) They caught a lot of flak I think because (to stereotype here) country fans are extremely patriotic, but they refused to apologize for the comment. If you hate them for that, you'll have to hate on The Boss too: I think he put it pretty well. That being said - I don't think they're hurting. Concert sales aren't hopping, but their new album debuted at #1. I forget the exact numbers, but the record sales over the first two weeks are like 400,000. I think concert sales are down because most of the people that want to go see them now don't want to pay $60 to sit in a massive fucking arena. I don't think they're 're-inventing themselves' either. I'm not a huge fan, but I have been listening to them off and on through the years. They've been heading this way for awhile. That makes sense - they've lost some of the party and twang and grown up a little - I think they're all mothers now actually. And they always have been talented - they can actually sing their own tracks, play numerous instruments, and write their own songs -- you don't stick around this long and become the biggest selling female act of all time by being no-talent hacks. So yeah, less about boys and partying and causing trouble, and more about the uncertainty of war, and the trouble with speaking your mind. I might actually go buy this one - the little I've heard is pretty impressive, and I like the fact that they're not willing to suck anyone's ass to make nice and get airplay. "I'd rather have a smaller following of really cool people who get it, who will grow with us as we grow and are fans for life, than people that have us in their five-disc changer with Reba McEntire and Toby Keith. We don't want those kinds of fans. They limit what you can do." If it's not for you, then that's cool. But if political views or being labeled as 'country' is what's keeping you from even listening, that's kinda sad. Actually, yeah, I think I'll go pick it up right now just to piss you off. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality
