    Unfortunately most food banks these days are running very low and do not have enough food to distribute to the families that need the food boxes. I'm not saying that stealing is right, but if you are already working your ass off trying to make ends meet and put a roof over your families head and you still can't feed your kids, you may be desperate enough to steel food. If you can imagine your child telling you that they are hungry and not being able to give them anything to eat than you start to understand how desperate people do desperate things.     My heart hurts so much for you. There is no pain in life like that of death. There is nothing that I found but time that eases it. I can only say what helped me a little when my dad died. I wrapped myself in everything that I could that reminded me of him or that he loved. I wouldn't listen to any other music other than what he liked. I took up his hobbies. I read his books. Everything I did was what he would have done. I know that sounds crazy but it made me feel closer to him, like he was still here. Eventually I went back to my stuff too, but I still do those things some times to make him be with me. But honestly, even then I can't believe it's real that he is gone and I prefer it that way.     Next time they call and ask for Eugene, say "sure, let me get him for you" Call out for Eugene to get the phone. Leave the phone on the counter and wait for Eugene to come and get his phone call.     Ok, I'm jumping in. I signed up for the Hood2Coast race this year set for August.(198 miles from Mt. Hood to Seaside Oregon) I will be on a team of 12 people all sharing parts of the race. My goal is to be able to run for 8-10 miles without stopping before race time. None of my legs of the race should be longer than that. As of right now I can do 3 I think I should be able to increase it to that level in time however I am slightly concerned about my shin splints"ouch". I am running 3-4 days a week. Wish me good luck!     Just a thought, and I realize that we are talking about a med student here, but is it entirely possible that with the pressure to do well she has turned to something addictive to help her and has gotten in over her head. Her symptoms sound typical of someone with an addiction or eating disorder. Maybe a chemical imbalance could be to blame for her emotional instability.     I saw a lot of great traditional things in here that I like to use in mine. One of the things I like to use in addition to a lot of these ingredients is a cup of blue cheese or a cup of feta.
